IHOP

“I chose to order the buttermilk pancakes and was given an option to choose between 3 or 5 pancakes.”

“I know half of them are coming from Sunday mass but can they at least look like they just came from a place of worship?"”

“Not that that stopped me from snarfing down mine as well as half of Silly Julie's hash brown "cake".”

  1. 2.5 stars.

    Delicious fattiness.
They list calories on the menu now 🙁
    Service is adequate.
    Soft drinks are overpriced.
    A little dirty.

  2. This IHOP seems like it was a family run IHOP which is always a point of appeal to me. Other than that the food was similar to any other IHOP, I definitely enjoyed the extended menu that IHOP has recently added and this place serves its purpose. The service was good, the food came quickly and the coffee was hot. Enjoy if you're near 440 and need a place for breakfast.

  3. Finally able to stop by here.

While it's on the northbound area of 440, so you have to make a jughandle somewhere if coming from the Holland Tunnel, this has a bigger-than-expected parking lot, and it's pretty big inside – a lot of people here.

Very standard IHOP fare, but I have to say, I'm not disappointed.

They don't use butter on their hashed browns anymore. That's disappointing, they're dry and less tasty that way. Ham is decent, and they have a sandwich with beef pot roast and melted cheese on grilled sourdough bread. A good thing I saw it highlighted on the menu.

Nice job overall with the service, too.

  4. I like IHOP, and this one is pretty decent.

Here are some of the good qualities I noticed:
~Kind staff who accomodated with our requests.
~Very spacious in terms of table/booths arrangements.
~Overall clean, at least my table was.
~Short waiting time and I went on a Saturday too!
    ~Fair pricing.
~Delicious food prepared for me and my boyfriend.  We ordered the "Simple & Fit Blueberry Harvest Grain 'n Nut Combo" which was a perfectly light breakfast for me.  My boyfriend had "The Breakfast Sampler", which is just as good if you want a heavier breakfast meal.  =)

If you could not decide on what to eat and you happen to be around the neighborhood, just hop to IHOP! *winks

  5. It's like any other ihop. They're now open 24/7 on weekends though which is a plus after a long night. However you can't expect much with the service. The menu has gotten a new makeover but the items are still the same besides the speciality/seasonal things they do every once in awhile usually during holidays. I usually order the combo platters to get a little bit of everything that usually includes eggs, sausage or bacon, and hash browns with pancakes, French toast or waffles. Coffees are free refills. It does get very packed so be prepared to wait…even for a parking spot.

  6. Never again.

I always do this to myself.

Am I a glutton for punishment?

What is it about this place?

    What is it about me?

I paid for this visit two fold.

    I thought I was melting.

  7. Lets start by saying I'm not a breakfast person and less of a pancake person however my friend wanted to come here so I agreed. The place was packed but we got seated fast, our waiter took our order and our food didn't take long. As far as the food goes it was decent but I think I prefer my omelets at a diner.

  8. Stripper are not the only ones that love ihop being open late night! Lol…breakfast is always made right with there sample plates….pancakes are awesome…..but the custom burger with the sunny side up egg egg and side of fries or onion rings is what i love to demolish when eating here  lol #fatboypeoblems
