Lovely, intimate atmosphere. Service was outstanding. I couldn't decide between the artichoke shrimp pasta and a pasta with cauliflower, broccoli, anchovy and tomato so I asked our server his opinion. He asked, "Do you trust me?" Since I was in an open-minded mood, I said, "Sure, surprise me!" To my delight, when dinner was served my plate included a mini-portion of BOTH dishes. Both were delicious (although I did slightly prefer the artichoke shrimp pasta).
I was part of a large work group that had dinner here recently. I thought the appetizers were very good, but the yellow fin tuna special I had was seriously over cooked. I should have stuck to the Italian food I guess. I can't comment on the price (I assume it is expensive) as I did not pick up the bill, but I will not rush back here.
Extremely elegant atmosphere and an outstanding menu with excellent food. Although the entrees are very reasonable in the low $20s range, the place can get expensive when you add in appetizers, drinks, and desserts. We were a party of 10 and the bill came out to $135/couple with tax and tip. For what we had, it was worth it.
We got to chat with a group at another table who were from Marlboro and we asked why they came down this way and they told us this place is great.
My only problem was with our waiter. Not terrible but not up to the standard of the rest of the place. At one point he was rushing us but when there was a problem with one of our dishes, he was pretty slow in correcting it.
They have a really good Caesar Salad here. Those who had the Veal Milanese raved about it. The menu is basically classic Italian with a flair and it's is very good.
I had a baptism party here a few weeks ago. Place is not huge but big enough to fit the entire party. Decor inside is typical Italian style. Food, very good. The appetizers were buffet style. Meats, cheeses, calamari, egg plant rollatini, olives…all yummy. The main course was split b/w my gf and I. I had the pasta (cream red sauce was outstanding) and she had the ravioli. I like mine better but both were good. Wine selection was very good. The wait staff were friendly and on top of things. Definitely worth a stop in. ENJOY!
Group meal – so caveat required….or not.
Beautiful experience from beginning to end – welcoming staff and attentive to our needs, accommodating despite the crowd….what a pleasure to be here. Must have excellent training and a beautiful service oriented culture.
Ordered the veal chop and did not want the accompaniment so asked for some accommodation…which was definitely well received and accepted – loved that. The chip was nice and thick and certainly high quality. tender to the touch and cuttable like a hot knife through butter. juicy to the extreme and the broccoli rabe was exquisite.,
Salads were super fresh and the side dish of pasta and the appetizer platters over the top fresh varied and tasty. Tried a few items and all were superb
Must go back – what a find!
