  1. Ordered from them because they were running a bunch of different Seamless deals (spend $X, get Y free). So we placed a delivery order for:

-Inaka Roll (snow crab, eel, shrimp tempura and avocado)
    -Sakura Roll (spicy salmon)
    -Spicy Scallop Roll
    -Salmon Skin Salad
    -Grilled Squid

With that, we got a free Dragon Roll. Delivery was on the slower side (just made it under the time estimate).

But none of the sushi was actually that good. My favorite was probably the Inaka, but the fish was just okay, and most of the sushi could've been sauced better. Not terrible by any means, but won't be ordering from them again.

  2. Hidden gem in Bay Ridge.  A relatively new restaurant as of 2013 and the restaurant has endured for two years. Modern decor all around, and good food.  Compared to the other places I've been to, I'm not sure you'll find authentic sushi in all of BR. You can get only what you can get… and so far this is one of the few sushi places I'd consider going to here.

Good presentation and decent quality sushi. Bento boxes here as pretty much as you should expect, cali roll and various small plates served up on a single platter. Beef negimaki and chicken katsu. Both were quite good and sufficient quantity.  Also they do lunch specials, if you happen to be around.

  3. I've been to this place a few times and ordered delivery and I'm always so happy with my food. First, the bento box portions are huge – I could eat 2 meals with 1 bento box. Their katsu is just the right amount of breaded and crunchy and the teriyaki is always savory and delicious. The astounding thing is I ordered delivery from here and I'm about 20 blocks away and yet it arrived within the estimated time range so kudos to them for efficient and fast service. This place is awesome.

  4. I've come here a few times with one of my friends and it's a cute little place. It's dark inside with nice calm lighting. They also have music playing not too loud and it's the same stuff you would hear on the radio.

The sushi may be priced a little more than some other places but it's worth it. You also get what you pay for and believe me you don't want bad fish. Remember also  the prices can be a little more due to the way the place is and located.

I have tried the Pad Thai noodle and it was really good. There was so much that I couldn't eat it all.

Than I have also tried some rolls and they where very fresh tasting and they have different ones. I've tried one with a blue crab.

I would defiantly come back here again.

  5. The menu features sushi yet offers both Japanese and Thai entrees to appeal to a wider audience. I opted for the JJ salmon roll which showcased salmon a couple of ways within one roll. I'd recommend it

The restaurant has a great atmosphere for a date. The decor here is modern. It dimly lit which set a romantic find. And the tables are comfortably spaced which offers privacy.

The service is speedy, attentive, and accommodating. All together, the restaurant provides a very pleasant experience.

  6. Ordered: Chicken pad thai

Pros–The ingredients were fresh and the house special sweet and sour sauce added a flavorful touch. The service was attentive and accommodating.

Cons–The dish's presentation went a little too far–with a cut-out fruit, flower and dots of chocolate sauce.

  7. I've been on this hunt to find a decent place for Pad Thai in Bay Ridge… and I haven't been able to find one since moving here from Queens. I've tried about 4-5 different places and they all tasted either bland or not like pad thai. My wife was craving some sushi and she said mentioned they had pad thai on the menu so I took a shot in the dark and ordered it. Pad thai from a sushi place? Read on…

I'm not sure if it's just that the other thai places are bad, but the pad thai here initially really impressed me. The noodles were the right type of noodles, not too soggy and dry, the sauce was just enough to put a hint of flavor without overwhelming my dish.

My wife ordered of few of their specialty rolls and I think they were pretty on point, one of the better sushi places in Bay Ridge.

So why the 3 star then you ask?

Long story short, we've had some issues with their deliveries not making it fully to my apartment and taking forever. Also, although we've never eaten in, I have gotten take out here and the waitresses were extremely rude and tried to nickel and dime me for everything. Hot sauce/soy sauce for 80 cents? Would I be charged that if I ate in? All that aside, the ambience/decor is really nice inside.

  8. This is my go to sushi restaurant. It's really pretty inside. It has a modern vibe. They have a few wines to choose from. The sushi is always fresh. My favorite is spicy tuna. I like a lot of their speciality rolls as well. I also sometimes order the stir fried yakisoba noodles and they are delicious. The service here is very good. If you're looking for sushi in bay ridge, definitely check out inaka!!
