  1. incrediBALLS is pretty incredible, and kudos to their marketing team… what a fun name! I think my girlfriend and I picked this food truck from all the others just because the name made us laugh so much.

My friend and I split a bowl, which is a sampling of 2 different balls. We asked for the best sellers, so the worker gave us the Italian and Buffalo Chicken Balls. The Italian was good but your typical Italian meatball and honestly, I am very prejudice about meatballs because my Nana makes the best, I probably should have asked for something else than the Italian, but oh well, shoula, woulda, coulda. HOWEVER, the Buffalo Chicken Balls was literally incrediBALLS. It was such a fun play on the typical meatball with buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing to dip in.

Such a cute food truck with a lot to offer. I cannot wait to try more!

  2. Tried this food truck and have to say I'm glad they take card because most of the other vendors only took cash. The balls are incredibly edible for sure, a nice selection of choices including the jerk chicken meatballs and the bahn mi. The jerk chicken captured the flavor of that pretty well, and the special mango Sauce was a great topping on it. Having only got the half was sandwich I noticed it didn't come with chips even though its advertised on the menu. Also the bread is rather thick so you have to take a couple bites before you get to the meat. The bahn mi was ok, the dressing and onions were a nice touch but couldn't compare to the jerk chicken meatballs and could've did without the jalepenos, which of course you could just pluck out. Good meatballs, I'd love to have them in my spaghetti rather than a sandwich, hint hint.

  3. Not really a LOVER of meatballs, they normally would not be my first choice for food. However, I tried these bad boys at Pier 13 and can honestly say that these are legit…the best!  The owner was incredibly nice, easy to talk to, and made great suggestions. He even gave my friend and I each a water bottle for free, so sweet!

Any of the meatballs we got, we decided to try in the bowls for a mess-free experience and better taste of the food. We tried four different styles of meatballs. I'm going to continue using the phrase meatballs, because just saying "balls" makes me extremely uncomfortable and paints an equally uncomfortable picture in my head. We tried four different styles out of the eight.

Swedish: My favorite ones! Four meatballs in the traditional brown sauce made of beef and pork. The sour cream dill sauce on top was to DIE for. I could have licked it off the plate. OK, fine, I DID lick it off the plate. I'm that type of human.

Buffalo Chicken: Meatballs made of chicken with a nice, thick, coating of hot sauce and blue cheese drizzled on top. Definitely had a kick to it, but not TOO overwhelming. If you love Buffalo, these are perfection.

Bahn Mi: Ugh. For some reason I thought these would just be a cool, Asian inspired take on the traditional meatball. These were the SPICIEST meal I've ever eaten. So spicy that I could not taste anything afterwards and my nose started running! I love spice, but these are so spicy that they're not even enjoyable!

Vegetarian: As the owner told us, "significantly underrated!" These were a close second to the Swedish ones, so different and unique, VERY flavorful and an awesome texture. The black bean and quinoa with the sauce gave an amazing flavor and the sushi rice added to that flavor while providing such a substantial texture. Amazing.

    PLEASE come to Brooklyn, Incrediballs!

  4. Wow, really didn't think I would like this so much! I heard great things about Incrediballs and I knew when I saw the food truck at Project Eats, I had to get some. My boyfriend and I ended up splitting a bowl of Jerk Chicken and Smothered balls. The smothered balls were just delicious. The balls didn't look that big, but they were pretty filling. Jerk chicken was good too, but I liked the smothered ones better. The jerk chicken had a nice kick to it though, much more than I expected it to have.

I'll definitely be back here again to try more flavors. Hopefully I find the food truck somewhere around JC!

  5. I've had their balls a couple of times. Honestly, the first time I wasn't too impressed, and had little intention of having them again. However, tonight I felt like giving them another shot and boy am I happy I did!!

The owner was soooooo nice! I went to order the bowl (4 balls, no bread), and asked for two banh mi balls and two vegetarian. He told me that the vegetarian is served cold and insisted I sample it first before deciding. (I guess he's had issues about it in the past.) He immediately turned around and prepared a sample, which I expected to be a bite on a spoon, but was pretty much a whole vegetarian ball with garnish and all! I was very pleasantly surprised by this courtesy because most places aren't concerned about individual tastes or ensuring customer satisfaction by giving away samples. It really showed me how much he cares for his customers, and the integrity of his product and business.

The vegetarian was DELICIOUS! After tasting it, I went with that and banh mi. Also very tasty! And even tho I didn't get the sandwich, I still got a small piece of bread to go along w my balls. And the portions are very good because I actually had a little leftovers for later. Def a great deal for $6.50!

I don't know what happened that first time, but there will definitely be a fourth, fifth, and sixth time around in my near future!

  6. Got the chance to try their food during the Riverview Jazz Festival. It seems like they have added a few additional types of meatballs on their menu. We got the bowl which is 4 meatballs with a side of bread. You get to choose up to 2 different styles of meatballs per order. We tried 4 different kinds: bbq pork, Jamaican jerk chicken, Banh Mi and southern smothered pork. And I must say, they were all pretty spectacular. Maybe next time I would ask for an order of just bread so sop up all the delicious sauce. Each meatball was packed with flavor and melts in your mouth. All in all, they were pretty incrediBall.

  7. The truck was down at Pier 13 and a girlfriend mentioned that the truck isnt usually there… so we tried it! Got the whole order and got to try the banh mi and the smothered pork. Our friend said the buffalo chicken was really good too! Very happy with these balls!

  8. My experience with IncrediBalls was good but not IncrediBalls good. The person who took my order was extremely nice and recommended balls for me to try.

    I ended up getting:

Jerk Chicken – chicken balls with jerk sauce and a purple cabbage slaw. The balls were ok, but the sauce or the vinegar on the slaw was flowery.  I didn't love…

Banh Mi – better than the jerk chicken. The meatballs were tasty with a kick. The only negative was that there were too many carrots and they weren't pickled. They were shredded, raw. Truth be told, I am not a lover of the carrot.

I would definitely give IncrediBalls another shot and try either the buffalo chicken or the vegan – they looked really good!
