  1. I love indian food and I love (well used to love) chipotle. I thought inday would be the perfect food baby created between these two, but something was off. The concept is very much like chipotle, but the portions are far from it. I was left wanting more, which is a first when it comes to indian food. The flavors aren't what you would expect at a traditional indian restaurant either, but hey, maybe they aren't striving to be. All in all I'm glad I gave this place a shot, but I don't see myself going back. I'm just going to stick with my all-you-can-eat indian establishments that are definitely keeping me on track with my summer bod goals.

  2. I really wanted to love this place and was so excited to try it. The unique menu choices, the Indian food, and the vibe of the restaurant was all up my alley. I love that it is healthy and thought it would be a great dinner option. I got the salmon bowl & added the coconut chutney but everything was woefully bland. I could barely finish it and had to use the table provided hot sauce to add some flavor. So sad that the flavors promised on the menu didn't actually happen in execution!

  3. I've enjoyed a few lunches at Inday in the past.  Love the not rice option on their menu.  Today's review is about a new addition to their menu… the Avo Cocoa

Wow!! Haven't had something this tasty since Organic Avenue's chocolate mousse that contained similar ingredients.  Highly recommend for an occasional treat if you are in the area.

  4. If you are looking to change up your lunch routine, you've got to try this place! Delicious, healthy Indian food served in bowls, with your choice of a grain, protein, and toppings. I got the not rice, which is a cauliflower "rice" and the paradise chicken with coconut chutney on top. It was delicious and I'll definitely be back again!

  5. I can feel that Inday was trying to replicate the way a lot of healthy spots were doing – build up your owl bowl, healthy base and various side options, and I actually liked the fact that they have something other than quinoa as the substitute for regular rice – the cauliflower/Brussel sprout mix; however I simply did not quite enjoy my self-built chicken bowl. Felt like the chicken meat was very bland and the hot sauce just didn't carry any flavor other than spicy. Sure I felt healthily stuffed after finishing up my bowl, just not satisfactory.

Was it because I have chosen the wrong protein? Shall I try salmon or beef instead of chicken? Or was it because many sides were sold out by the time I got there? Seems like Inday still has a long way to go in order to be comparable with places like Dig Inn or even Roast kitchen.

  6. If I could afford it, I would go here for lunch everyday. I love all the interesting flavors here and the interior decor. There are usually long lines outside here at lunch but the line went really quickly.

My co-worker that I went with said that the flavors and offerings change all the time to the point where she can't keep up with it.

I got the chicken bowl on "not rice" with pineapple curry, coconut curry, and a bok choy side.

They also top it with a fancy looking chip on top.

The interior is super beautiful, and I can't wait to go back.

  7. Inday is a great lunch spot for anyone in Flatiron/Chelsea/Madison Square Park area. All ingredients are so tasty and unusual and I love that they have cauliflower rice! I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian but I ordered the Yoga legend bowl and it was fantastic – and extremely filling. I would love to go back and try more things!

  8. Wow. This food is soo tasty and super healthy! You can choose either a built bowl or make your own. I decided to build my own, choosing the cauliflower Rice as the base. I got the chicken  (mix of light and dark but so flavorful) with tons of fresh veggies – big chunks of seasoned jicama, incredible coconut chutney and crispy bits on top.
I also tried their chai – it was spicy and tasty.
The dosa waffle with tomato chutney was pretty good but a little sour for my taste.
Definitely return for fantastic power bowls.
