  1. In the neighborhood looking for comfort food on a cold spring evening… International Wings Factory was the perfect spot for some much needed guilty indulgence.

Taking everyday wings and giving them a new twist, this tiny outlet gets my vote for their different dips & stellar boneless tandoori wings! I'm not even a wings fan…and these were just delicious, delicious, delicious!! The tandoori rub was a perfect mix of spices…and the creamy coriander dip and the blue cheese dip were both excellent accompaniments.

Also tried the crispy tilapia sandwich & the veggie burger and both were flavorful & well done. I'm super sceptical of trying the veggie burger when it's a token on a specialty menu, but this one gets a huge thumbs up….bursting with real veggies & not some weird processed soy stuff! #tryit

We also sampled the Sriracha fries and Soul purifier wings and everything was packed with tons of flavor.

Now the important question: guys I need those tandoori wings for my next party, so can you deliver to Hoboken pleaseee???!!

  2. "What IS this place??" my picky daughter demanded to know. She had a stunned look in her eyes as she reached for more sweet potato fries. Yes, they're that good–like off-the-charts good, flavorful and crunchy even after walking home with them in a paper bag–and kudos to you if you can stop eating them.

That quality is the norm at this tiny outpost on the far edge of Yorkville. The boneless wings might have been just a delivery system for the outstanding (and spicy!) dipping sauces, but they turned out to be another work of art: succulent, tasty, generously portioned and seasoned.

Discovering that an unassuming little kitchen can turn out such high-quality food is one of the great joys of city living. So is making the acquaintance of the folks who run the place. They are super-friendly and care deeply about keeping customers satisfied.

Please keep this in mind when you place a delivery order. This is not McDonald's, people. If you want the best, you might need to wait a few extra minutes for it. Believe me, it's worth it.

  3. Forget Buffalo Wild Wings. Head here y'all. Some really interesting flavors and combos going on. We tried The Buffalo Hot, Barbecue and the Tandoori (Dry Rub) all were excellent. The dipping sauces are also unique ( How about some Cilantro Cream dip to cool off the spices of the Tandoori Wings?? ) Fries were crispy and yummy and perfect for dipping! Owner and customer service was spot on too.

Next time gotta try their Sichuan wings and also the Fish Sandwiches !!!!

  4. My friends have been hyping this place up for way too long now. I always miss the chance to join them. I expected it to be this marvelous restaurant with awesome seating and waitresses and beer, but it's nothing like that.
I wasn't even craving wings but my friend insisted we'd go since it's been a long time coming, and when I saw it it literally looked like a tiny Chinese take out so I was really confused

The woman at the counter, I'm assuming she is the owner or a relative- maybe wife?- of the owner. She was EXTREMELY nice. She conversed and really seemed excited to have us there. It was 10 minutes until close and there was not even an ounce of impatience and no feeling like we had to leave any time soon. So refreshing! (Although I don't recommend coming 10 minutes till close to dine in as it is a bit rude and inconsiderate of the workers, but once again.. my friend insisted)

    ANYWAY FINALLY TO THE FOOD

I was a little boring and I just ordered plain, medium wings, and an order of garlic fries with blue cheese sauce and jalapeno ranch sauce.
    Woooooah.
For one the wings were great. They were actually seasoned and had salt which is so rare!!! They were thick and meaty, had so much sauce and they were just cooked to perfection.
I had these spicy garlic fries and those stole my heart. I'm craving them right now.
I couldn't eat all of my food because there was so much of it, and it was really affordable! There was also free water which is always nice and saves you some money.

Then the maybe-owner-woman brought out BROWNIES FOR MY FRIEND AND I! On the house
I love brownies, but these didn't look or sound too appealing, plus I was full.
I took a bite anyway, and..

THESE WERE SO DAMN GREAT! Especially with the little jam it came with. I'm literally salivating at the thought of them.

    This place is amazing.
I learned to not judge a book by it's cover, and I found what might be the best wing spot in NYC.

All they need is a liquor license and I will never leave.

(I plan on coming next week to try their vegan wings. Very curious about these!)

  5. Really nice staff, but they got my order wrong (wanted boneless and got regular wings). Sauce was very good but I just don't like wings on the bone so based on sauce and service this place is great. I will update when I get to try the boneless.

  6. I never thought I would declare wings to be my current favorite food but if you make it like they do here at IWF,I stick to my words.I love the fact that the wings dont just come in the classic flavor but also satiates that craving for familiarity no matter where you are from- the Mexican chilli sauce, the Vietnamese Mango or the desi Tandoori masala are a few of the available choices.

The menu here features both boneless and bone in wings in a variety of sauces/dry rubs served with a mind blowing assortment of dipping sauces. We tried the tandoori masala wings, delectable chicken wings with a tandoori dry rub on them which had the perfect blend of flavour and spice.Paired with the cilantro dipping sauce, this was the most unique take on wings I have ever tried.Another favorite, the Soul purifier, was wings in a spicy sauce which was yummy without being overpowering.Get it if you can handle a bit of heat! The other dipping sauces of blue cheese and chipotle Mayo were quite tasty too.Kudos to the chef for making every flavour different while still maintaining the integrity of wings.

The surprise winner for me was the tilapia sandwich, crispy goodness and fresh greens coming together for the perfect bite. All this ,along with the cheesy Sriracha fries was enough to put me in a food coma.I really really hope they open another one some where in Jersey city but till then,I am most certainly going to make the trek all the way here to try more flavors.

  7. Tiny hole in the wall with decent wings. I'd say closer to a 3.5 but the staff was friendly so I'll round up not down.

Wing size: plump and decent sized
Flavors: Tried the tandoori which was very tasty and crisp with a little heat, highly recommend.

Also tried their "hottest" wing and my friend asked them to make it hotter if possible. Honestly, barely registered on my heat level. You can't be a real wing joint and not make HOT wings. Apparently the staff has made this known to the owner but have yet to effect a change. So yeah, my number one complaint is how weak ass your hot sauce is. Yeah, I'm calling you out.

Fries were above average as well and they put cinnamon sticks in the water dispenser which was new to me but kinda neat.

Anyways, I might come back for the tandoori, but I also might not come back until I see a spicy wing on their menu, we'll see.

Also, I probably should have asked, but I guess you can get a different sauce than blue cheese and they have a ton of sauces. Would be nice if you mention if that is the case.

  8. Came to International Wings Factory and enjoyed some good wings! Great service and good food. The lady that owns the place is super welcoming and very helpful. The food that most stands out for me were the sweet potato fries – they were soooo good.
