I never even knew this place existed. I had a chicken shawarma wrap here. It was great. The food came out quickly as well. The staff and service was quick, attentive, and extremely friendly. The price was manageable as well. The decor, table and seating was really clean and looked high-end. Will come back here in the future.
I love this place! For diner-level prices you get much better tasting food and bigger portions! My wife and I were wiped from a day of furniture shopping next door and we decided to eat here! Mind you, this is the first time in about two years that we have dined here (only had cappuccino and baklava then) so when we returned, we were delighted to find that the restaurant seemed to have gotten larger! A lot of seating, and seemingly a lot more food on the menu.
We ordered a gyro, cappuccino, chamomile tea, yogurt and baklava to go. The bread was complimentary. Everything was delicious and in abundance! We couldn't get rid of the yogurt, and we dipped everything in it! Hahaha! The gyro is made with veal, not lamb and that's just fine by me. The cappuccino and the tea were both flavorful.
We had a great time here and the food and service was great. We will be back often!
Met up with some ex co-workers for breakfast and again another enjoyable experience.
In summary:
– Very comfortable ambiance.
– Very friendly service.
– Gozleme was just okay, as the dough was a bit soft.
– Menemen was okay too; a tad runny for my palate.
– Simit was very good to excellent; crunchy and served slightly toasted and warm!
– Turkish tea is so awesome. Tip: Ask the waiter for a carafe, so you can refill your tea at your leisure.
very authentic Turkish cuisine, mostly Turkish clientele, very large, clean, brightly lit place., huge menu. they have Turkish breakfast. the kibbeh is great, as is the bread served with your meal. sheperd salad is an excellent choice as is the pacanga pie appetizer which is basically cheese-pastrami in a sort of "egg roll wrap" cylinder .. lots of desserts. good place to go with family, date, or friends. plenty of tables and boothes. tthey have a parking lot. no alcohol allowed.
