“Truffle fries are delicious and they have good, house made veggie burgers and salads too.”

“If partaking in reason #1, expect $5 beer, $6 wine and $7 cocktails, including the delicious Pomegranate White Cosmo and the Ivy Martini.”

“I love that they have a delicious prosecco included in their happy hour specials, instead of the usual well drinks and predictable beers.”

  1. Oh, I just love this place. I love it so much. The bartender was so cute and friendly! My friend and I went here 3 nights in a row…that's how much we loved it!

The drinks were potent and amazing! I didn't eat here, so I can't say anything about that. We did have a wonderful time, though. The music was excellent and there was just a very good vibe there.

The location was excellent and the bar was very hip and inviting. I have nothing bad to say about the spot.

The crowd was also very diverse and exciting. I can't wait to go back to New York to visit this spot again.

  2. Great after work happy hour spot. Cheap drinks, good food, lots of space and up beat music. Amazing truffle fries! The wait staff is super friendly and kind.

  3. I thoroughly enjoyed this place! Upon walking in, you're greeted with great customer service. The waiters and staff are very friendly and you know they want you to have a great experience. I went with some friends on a Friday night and we sat at one of the high tables.

We ordered some drinks and some food for a late night dinner. Let me tell you, the kale and artichoke dip is to die for! They're served with oregano, warm pita-like bread chips and there's enough dip for 3 people! Not a drop was left haha

After, we ordered the shrimp sliders, classic sliders, a pineapple coconut mojito and a Corona and we were good to go! Devoured all of that haha I would definitely come here again when I'm in the area!

  4. This will unfortunately be a short review.

I was having a tough day at work and thought, 'it'd be great to step out and have a drink.' and so I did. I went to Ivy hoping to have a good Old Fashioned. Fortunately, they had a signature one on the menu. It read well; they use orange bitters instead of the usual stuff and club soda instead of regular water. Unfortunately, it was not very good. Issue one is that there was about 3 ounces of drink total, it was pretty sad. For $14, I'd like a drink that i can nurse for more than 2 minutes. Issue two was that it had an insane amount of ice. After the initial ice and some mixing, came more ice. Third issue was that he didn't use orange bitters, it was just regular bitters. Fourth issue is just that it plain lacked balance.

If I go back to Ivy, I'll try a burger and def stick to beer.

  5. The only thing I can say about Ivy: YAAASSS!!!

This place is great. The service is always done with a smile and the people working there are always so nice. My girlfriend and I are in love with the chicken cutlet sandwich that they have and often pop over here for that. Ok, let me describe it to you and you'll see why we love this so much. It's a crispy chicken cutlet sandwich, served with chipotle mayo, cilantro, watercress, pickled red onions, sautéed jalapeños and avocado. It comes with a side of amazingly crisped and hand-cut fries that you dip in flavorful aioli. Mmmm.. my mouth is watering from just thinking about it.

Unfortunately we rarely are around Midtown otherwise I'd frequent this more often – especially as they have some good Happy Hour deals from 4-6 pm.

  6. Just meh.  Host and servers were not very helpful or accommodating.  All tables were reserved for holiday gatherings, and they were of no help in securing a smaller table for us to sit and order food after a few hours went by.  We asked several times, found a table on our own and ordered a few apps.  The food was okay but I probably won't be back.

  7. It was my BFF's birthday last week so we opt to have a few drinks at Ivy's followed by dinner in the area. Unfortunately, it seems all the locals and business groups quickly bombarded this spot. It was a bit crowded for a Fri evening. The hostess told us it would be 10-15 min. wait for a table. We went over to the bar to pass the time. After 2 drinks and an hour gone by, still no sign of a table. I went back to ask if it was ready. The hostess tried to laugh it off and told us, "It's a Friday. We have a lot of reservations that were booked earlier in addition to 4 other ppl on the waiting list. There is no table right now." We didn't find humor at all after being  told it was a short wait. I simply told her, she could had told us from the beginning instead of wasting our time. Though, I suspect this is to lure customers to the bar to get more business. Really disappointed! They do have happy hour for drinks in addition to good food for the area. Make sure to make a reservation if you want a table esp for Friday's!

  8. Abysmal.
The service isn't what it used to be…

Didn't get a menu until I asked for it, yet everyone else at the bar was given one by the bartender without asking.

Then my drink took 15 minutes to get after I had to inquire about where it was & that I had been waiting.

This is on a Sunday. SUNDAY. Are you ******* kidding me? IT WASN'T EVEN BUSY!!!!!!!!!!!

Drink was amazing though, as I remembered.

Too bad. Was going to get food, more drinks, & have my friend join me. We decided to reroute elsewhere where our time was much more valued.

    Used to be a regular.

Won't be returning & won't be referring people to this place anymore either.

I don't even care if it was an off day in regards to the service. Completely unacceptable.
