Nice little coffee shop here, tight space but good solid above average coffee.
Few benches outside for when its nice.
Grahame Fowler next store is awesome as well.
Came here on a Sunday afternoon, and the place was pretty packed. My friend and I got 2 bar seats that were not in the best location to sit as it was in front of all the sugar packets and cup holders. The venue itself wasn't big, seats about 10 people (small tables). By the time we left there was a line. We both got cappuccinos; It was pretty good, but a bit on the pricey side.
Jack's is small, but they manage to fit in some tables. It was very crowded for a random weekday morning. Guess it's the local hot spot.
They have an interesting specialty menu but I opted for an iced cappuccino. It was not cheap but it was delicious-perfect amount of foam. Nice pastry selection as well.
The only part that annoys me is the self-serve sugar area. There's nowhere to put your coffee while opening sugar so basically you have to hope for the best that your coffee doesn't fall on the floor. Every coffee place should have ample area to "dress" your coffee.
Great coffee, cute space, great community. Our absolute favorite in NYC! A real neighborhood place with nice employees and unique coffee drinks. It's small so not good for sitting and working. Only four tables and people sit and talk there. But the best place to come for a morning or weekend cup. LOVE.
Small, cozy and wonderful coffee shop. I ordered a chai latte, it was delicious, honestly it was one of the best chai lattes I've ever had. The space is small, but they arranged quite a bit of seating despite the confined space.
Is this Jack Jack's wife's Freda's husband? Laugh with tears…
I took a short run to this coffee shop after hearing many positive comments about it – totally get the hype! Upon entry, I was completely shocked by the photo wall to my right and got attracted by the coffee bean scent to my left. Definitely one of the best cappuccinos I have tried, very smooth!
I really should have sit down and enjoy the cosy feeling, unfortunately have to rush back to work…TGIF!
I particularly loved this location because of the cute little tables out front. You can plop down with a book and your coffee (and even your dog like the locals do) and watch the world go by. They have a lot of different flavors of drinks that I have never seen or heard of before. I got a latte with honey and cinnamon in it and it was really good. My hubby liked the stir brew coffee, but he didn't think it was much more amazing than the regular cup of joe that he's used to.
Great little coffee shop. They have stir brew coffee (as the name would suggest) as well as lots of other cool creations. I had a "Stella" which was coffee au lait with organic cocoa. I thought it was reasonably priced. I treated myself to an apple walnut scone as well which was delicious. There were lots of other tempting treats I might have to check out next time.
There are only 4 tables here and then a little bar space to sit. So it's hit or a miss as to whether or not you'll get a seat. But having limited seats also keeps it quiet.
Also, I thought the music was awesome. In what other place do you hear "Dance Magic" by David Bowie from the Labyrinth soundtrack bumping softly in the background?? Great mix of different music genres.
