New Mexican spot on 5th avenue Jalapeños which I been spying for a while. Finally opened and got to check it out.
Ordered 3 tacos small and some guacamole.
1 – pastor ****
1 – carne asada ****
1 – pollo asada ****
If you order large tacos they come with the guacamole. The small tacos were quite fulfilling and delish.
I also had the Verde Tamale which was ehhh! Really not great, I am pretty biased on tamales cause I eat them fresh every weekend.
They do have an extensive menu and since Matamoros had closed across the street this is the new spot.
Pretty large layout for seating and I hope they can be consistent with the presentation and quality of food they put out now.
Not bad and shall return for more!!!
P.S. The guacamole was good not spicy but very good!
