  1. I love jambajuice and they are my favorite chain smoothie store.  The people here were very nice and did some funny chant whenever someone gave them a tip, which was a nice touch.  I was in and out fast.

  2. I thought they had cold pressed juices here as I had a groupon to redeem cold pressed juices. Showed up and the ladies didn't know what a cold pressed juice was.
The board on the right states the prices of the smoothies- I assume the sizes are medium and large. I asked for the bigger one, and they have me an extra large size (22oz) that cost almost $10. They did the exact same thing to another guy. According to the board, the large was $6.99. If there is an extra large, they should display that clearly on the board.

  3. I have stopped by this location a few times & as far as it goes it's great.
Not much to be said about the location itself since it's more of a small stand than an actual store.
Located at the Rockefeller stop it can get pretty busy depending on the time a day you stop by.
As for the smoothies Caribbean Passion is delicious , the Strawberry Raspberry & Banana smoothie is also very good.
& the Pomegranade paradise is also pretty good.
Jamba juice is great , decent smoothies plenty to choose from & in comparison to all the crap you can grab on the go now a days its a good healthy option.
Prices are reasonable & the service is not bad.

  4. One of my pet peeves – Employees who hate their jobs (and probably their lives) who take it out on the customers.

Normally, when I pick up my drink, I say, "Thank you." But today, I must have forgotten since I was still half asleep and already late for work. I didn't remember until the guy who made my smoothie reminded me – He shouted rudely after me, "YOU'RE WELCOME!" Not okay in my book. I've dealt with rude customers before in my past jobs but never once have I given them grief for it since 'the customer is always right.'

Oh and not long before that, a girl ordered an oatmeal. She wanted brown sugar on both the bottom and top and the same guy says (loudly, with an attitude of course), "How would she be able to check if there was sugar on the bottom or not?"

So to the Jamba Juice employee who got my Friday off to a bad start – quit your job. Or at least switch locations. THANKS!

  5. Try your juice before walking away! I ordered a citrus kick with no orange juice. As soon as I take my first sip, I taste the orange juice. Ugh. And I was already on the train.
And this location seems wildly overpriced. I got a large for nearly $10. And I got what looks like a medium. Nice try, won't get me next time. I'll just stick with Starbucks.

  6. I usually stop by this Jamba Juice whenever I head to or from work. It's a small little stand located in Rockefeller Plaza. My favorite Jamba Juice is Apples and Greens. It's seems healthy enough and it is for sure fulfilling.

Service is definitely fast, great for when I want to grab a quick drink before work. Although sometimes the workers can be rude!!

  7. My second Jamba Juice experience and go to juice is a double shot of wheat grass experience. The thing they need to change is serving the wheat grass on the little plastic dish to you. Yes, next time I will just take the little cup and run but what is the point to the dish? You drink it in a moment and then need to return to the counter to give them the plate back.

Either way it is a small complaint for the freshness delivered right in front of you. Looking for something natural and good for you — try Jamba.

  8. Nearly ten years ago I had my first jamba juice experience by NYU and I left…terrified.

Terrified by the thronging masses of juice heads (Not jersey shore but people craving a cuppa the JJ) I literally walked out, deeming my time more important than queuing up for an ungodly amount of time.

Fast forward to present day Rockefeller Center. I've learned to accept crowds and sometimes even wait the 10-20 minutes for a rich culinary experience at popular spots.

JJ isn't a rich culinary experience as it's fairly uniform at any location– same menu, same ingredients, same employee uniform.

And that's ok because this Jamba Juice is located where I work and the line moves quickly, if there even is a line.

Perhaps the ideal time is between 2 and 3pm , right after the lunch rush, right before the late afternoon pick me up crowds.

My drink of choice: the creamy treat known as a Peanut Butter Moo'd. I even appreciate the pun.

Pun or not, this is the kind of ingredient combination that is extremely difficult to mess up. I mean it's peanut butter, bananas, chocolate, vanilla yogurt and soy milk.

So easy I could make this at home but I don't as I'm at work and need a quick slurp of bovine inspired escapism from the tedium of the grind.

This location is next to a Dunkin Donuts if arriving by subway or on the way to the Roc Center Concourse if approaching from a different direction.

For the sake of a peanut butter moo'd, I ignore crowds and calorie counts. You should do the same.
