Jamba Juice
“I went with the Strawberry Surf Rider – strawberries, lemon, lime, peaches, since I was craving something tangy.”
“( But this is the only location (so far) that offers $2 oatmeal everyday but before noon I think.”
“The best part it is right in Penn Station so you can hop right on the train after you have one in hand or go grab one before heading to work.”

It's aiight.
It's definitely speedy and there's almost never a line – which is surprising for a place with so much foot traffic. It's also just around the corner from the LIRR and right under NJ Transit, so relatively convenient.
But, not my favorite Jamba Juice mostly because THEY NEVER FILL TO THE TOP. Like seriously? Anything they leave behind gets dumped in the sink anyway. Why can't you fill my overpriced smoothie to the top?
Hrrrgh I'm wavering between 3 or 4 stars…but since the actual smoothie was really delicious, I'll go with 4. I've never been to this Jamba Juice, so it was a bit of a struggle to find it in Penn Station. I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon en route to my trip back to Baltimore, MD, and there was no line at the ordering counter, just one lady waiting for her order. I went with the Strawberry Surf Rider – strawberries, lemon, lime, peaches, since I was craving something tangy.
My order came out really quickly, like in less than 5 minutes. However, the cup wasn't topped all the way – there was at least an inch at the top which was empty, which is kinda sad when you're paying like $6 for a smoothie? But it tasted great and fresh, super tangy from the lemon/lime but without completely overpowering the sweetness from the strawberries and peach. Satisfied my thirst on the ride home. 🙂 It's convenient and quick, so a viable option if you want to grab something fruity!
They make a BANGIN' Smoothie here!
The end. Love BillySalts
Jamba Juice always reminds me of the West Coast and I'm so glad that there is a Jamba Juice in Penn Station!
I think being a "commuter" Jamba has helped make them very, very efficient. It literally takes about 2 or 3 minutes from paying at the register to getting your smoothie on. It's super convenient and I now stop by all the time on my way to work (especially during $2 smoothie weeks!)
$1 oatmeal Wednesdays are amazing, but it seems like the $1 portions are smaller. You can get the brown sugar on the side to avoid having way too much sugar.
Don't forget to get a stamp card! Save up 10 for a free smoothie.
a smoothie from jamba juice is my favorite part of my morning commute into manhattan from jersey, especially after the atrocity of NJTransit. yay.
service at this one is a little slower than others i've been to, but it's not toooo bad. the smoothies are yummy, oatmeal's okay- overall consistent with the jamba juice chain.
apples&greens = yum.
it's addicting, i promise.
I love this place. I never feel guilty buying drinks from here. It was and still is all the rage since I was in high school. It is a great snack to go something to just keep the stomach from growling. They have a great selection of drinks to choose from. My favorite is the green tea matcha. They also use to have another green tea flavored one but I think they took it out of the menu. They also have a citrus one that also was taken out. But I do like all the fruity ones. They have options for a energy boost or immune system boost. I fine that unique and I love that aspect.
Simply not worth it. I paid $7 for a juice that tasted like it came from a fountain. I couldn't taste the flavor of my berries and it didn't taste like there was any real fruit in my drink.
The service took forever which is not what I wanted at 8 am when I needed to get to work but the employees were nice.
This Jamba is in Penn Station so it's convenient when you're on the run.
This has become my FAVORITE Jamba store.
I've been to a few that is less…well for the sake of not just mouthing off which I will probably do in the next few sentence anyway…lacking proper training in making smoothies.
First of all, when you are paying oh I don't know around $8 for a Power size, you better make DAMN sure you fill that shyt to the top.
Dirty glancing at you (Union Square location).
With that being said the only places that have filled it up to the top because their managers are ON POINT in monitoring their staff one might go to 1 of 2 locations.
The Midtown West and Penn Station location.
I will add more locations to this list when/if I try more locations.
Remember to ask for a loyalty card at this location as the 6th drink you buy is on the house.
Getting to this Penn Station location you would have to go to the level where people are waiting for the LIRR trains.
It is directly across from Charley's Grilled Subs and next to Carlton's Card shop.
It is one of their smaller store locations but between customer service and quality of their pours I dare you to find a better Jamba store location.
Apple n Greens + Berry Upbeet + Orange Carrot Karma are the BEST flavors in my opinion.
Fruits and Veggies?
I'm soooooo IN!
