  1. I realize that I was here before 6:00am but Java Moon was open for business, had 5 employees on duty and was busy. Everyone was working in slow motion except the barista. The order taker was not focused and messed up my order for a non fat mocha. Not rocket science, just a non fat mocha. Everybody was "Stepford" friendly. The quality of my mocha, when I finally received it was just ok. The perpetration was good but the quality of the ingredients was mediocre.

  2. Why even bother serving this shit to people? Oh I know, so you can make money out of it.

Worst quesadilla of my life, seriously.

  3. On an early flight out of EWR and one coffee option near gate 30. My expectations were low and the americano I received was good! Strong with good overall flavor. I love being pleasantly surprised. They have a variety of snacks and breakfast sandwiches to grab for your flight. I wouldn't order a latte or mocha as its going to be a wee bit of coffee and a whole lot of milk.

  4. You can't expect good food at the airport and this place is not an exception. I would stay away from salads and sandwiches unless you absolutely need to get something to eat.

This is the only decent place to get coffee and hot tea on terminal B. They have a great selection of hot teas. However, the taste was below average.

I also tried blueberry muffin here – it was too sweet, too dense and I could hardly find a blueberry in it!

  5. Stopped here for a small cup of coffee for $3. It was nothing special ,but just a step up from Starbucks coffee wise.  When you are at an airport though you are kind of captive and limited with your options.  I usually just try and wait until I get on the airplane, for at least it is free!  Anyhow….hopefully I won't fly into EWR again..wasn't a great experience…yet that was largely due to Delta delays

  6. Solidly average. I ordered a vegetarian quesadilla, which was pre-made and just heated up in the oven (so you get what you get – no customizations to remove any ingredients).

They were pretty nice, but the "2 minutes" was actually about 10.

The location is fine since its in terminal A, right in the middle of gates 30-39, but really there is nothing special about this place.

  7. Hot breakfast sandwiches, coffee drinks (hot and cold), cold fruit juices, cold wrapped sandwiches, small snacks, cold water bottles.

It's a cafe in the airport.  As such, don't have such high expectations.  It'll be over-priced, okay food, and decent service.  The store will give you what you'll need (to help satiate hunger or thirst), but it is not a gourmet cafe.  It just gets the job done.

They do take credit cards, so that's good.  And the cashier will try and be as fast as possible, so that's good, too.

  8. What can I say about EWR. Only good thing here is that oxygen is included when your inside the airport for free.  Otherwise this airport is depressing and this mocha joint is bad, nothing here is fresh. The coffe is flat and it takes the "coffee guy" he should not be called a "barista," over 10 min to make each latte or anything.   omg so slow and unfriendly here as well
