I have driven past this place a million times and have always wanted to see what it was all about so when trying to decide on where to eat we decided lets give it a shot. The parking is behind the restaurant so you have to walk up the corner to the side door to get in. Once inside you are greeted by the hostess in what seems to be a very nice sports bar at best. Our hostess sat us in a booth in what seemed to be a lifeless restaurant. The bar looked lifeless as well with all of two people sitting at it not appealing to be thrilled to be there. We looked over what I was told is a new menu which I found to be quite limited.
For our appetizers we ordered the truffled fries which are more like wedges (very tasty), the fried mozzarella which you could tell was fresh mozzarella not store bought, I ordered the french onion soup and a side salad that was arranged very pretty. I asked for an extra salad dressing because I felt the way they dressed it was dry. My friend ordered the garden state martini that was supposed to be $5.00. I ordered the worst vodka pizza I have ever tasted. It was pretty much a pre-cooked pita like dough with no sauce or cheese just penne vodka with a bland taste plopped rite on top. I took a bite and ate just some of the pasta off the top (really disappointing) My friend ordered the galick steak that he really enjoyed it was a steak served in a whisky cream sauce and served with vegetables. My other friends ordered an ahi tuna salad and an order of penne vodka.
Over all I probably will only go back here if its just for appetizers and soup and a beer. When we got the bill I noticed I was charged .50 for blue cheese dressing which the waitress never mentioned, charged $8.50 for what was supposed to be a $5.00 after we had to explain to her why the check is wrong it took her about 15 mins to bring us the new correct bill. Can't say I'm excited for round two.
I like this place. They have a very nice beer selection, a diverse menu with some common things done in different ways (lemon cheese wings).
There beer selection was pretty diverse, But they didn't have a list, so it was kind of a pain to get an actual description of each beer they had.
The service is pretty good and the booth sizes are big, which is great for larger groups.
Jersey Boys is my go to place on Fridays after work, usually with a couple of people from my job. Food is consistantly good, employees are always good and the customer base is always good. Owner Tony is on the premises more often than not. If he isn't there, he might be at his other restaurant, Sanduccci's, but his managers do an equally excellent job.
Nice staff, large appetizer portions, good pizza, great sweet potato fries, yummy burgers, wraps, calimar is also good ( asian and buffalo style). They have good buffalo wings and wraps. As you can see, I go quite often and am never disappointed. The sangria is just ok. Not strong enough for me but beers are good.
Great for families, friends and all ages. They have quite a few TVs by the bar where you can eat on high tables. It is casual and comfy. In the summer they have nice outdoor seating.
Ya know, this place doesn't get the greatest reviews.. Even through word of mouth, I've heard several people with negative things to say, but I really can't figure out why.
The food is good, not outstanding, but good, and it's all priced VERY reasonably. I had a salad with grilled chicken the other day and it was very good. The nachos are a massive portion and if you order it, don't plan on eating dinner too, even if you're splitting it with 2 other people. Seriously, it's monstrous! The Asian style calamari is really good… it's probably my favorite app at Jersey Boys.. Jordan says the burger is very good, and I will take his word for it, as he orders burgers everywhere we go. I've had pasta dishes. I've had fish. OOO the fish and chips was especially good here! I think it's fried in a batter made with Guinness. Seriously, I don't understand the bad rep!
They also have an array of cocktails to choose from and they're made well too! I wasn't thrilled with the beer sampler, but they have quite a few drink choices.
Actually… I'm getting hungry. I think I might go back to Jersey Boys right now…
Not sure what all the poor reviews are about… Jersey Boys is a great sports bar!!! They have GREAT food and an AWESOME staff!! My BF and I tried it for the first time this past weekend because we wanted to grab some food & watch the basketball game Saturday night. Jersey Boys has a full bar, high top tables & booths in the back. We ended up sitting at the bar to watch the game. They have 5 or 6 TVs in the bar area.
They have tons of beer on tap from
all across the USA including some of my favorites from the Ommegang & Saranac breweries in upstate NY. I ended up getting a hard cider. Yummy. We ordered a BBQ pulled pork personalized pizza with thin crust (2 people can easily share it) & spinach salad to share. Everything was great. 5/5 stars for the food. The BBQ sauce on the pizza is DELLLIIICIOUS. The spinach salad has walnuts, dried cranberries, & gorgonzola cheese. I would recommend all of it!
The entire staff are great & very friendly. I wish I got the bartenders name.. He was awesome. I saw him pouring their homemade sangria and it looked great, I'll definitely have to try that next time I come. My boyfriend loved the pizza here. I will definitely return!!
Only been here one time and I cannot complain or give it a full five stars. A group of my classmates and I decided it would be a good day to get a few drinks. I had an apple martini (not bad) and a screwdriver (I kept asking for vodka for some reason it tasted weak) and I enjoyed a plate of Asian style calamari. A plate of calamari in a type of sweet and sour sauce with some kick to it. Love every minute of it but have yet to go back and try more from the full menu
The staff is nice, young, and pretty girls (well at least they were when I went there). We will see about another trip and another review
