One of the ultimate hidden gems. This run down old school joint specializes in burgers but their strength is their ability to provide the sort of full breakfast you'd expect from a greasy spoon, for about half the cost… $5-7. And they serve breakfast all day, so not only can you get a egg, meat and hash brown plate at 6pm, but you can get it for $6. Plus the staff gives you solid no-bull service with a quick turnaround. If Seattle (or many towns for that matter) had a place like Jimbo's, it would make a killing since it'd stand head and shoulders above everyone else when it comes to quick and dirty greasy spoon breakfast fare.
This Jimbo's just opened and, yes, I was excited.
The burgers are tasty, not the best, but certainly a few steps up from Micky D's. Just stay away from the fries. They're limp and greasy.
I've tried several different items from this Jimbo's including the salads and everything tastes the same. It's weird…it certainly has the diner phenomenon of indistinguishable food flavors. I do think they have the juiciest burgers around whether you order the beef or the turkey burgers. I agree with Heather…their fries are awful. Go across the street to Popeye's if you must have fries. Also try the beef sausage sandwich for something different. Breakfast is usually very greasy and bland.
