As a fervent lover of both wine and my native Queens, I'm very glad to make Jin Brothers the subject of my 100th Yelp review. Jin Brothers is one of those stores you walk into and immediately realize, "wow, a lot of love went into this place." I don't mean romantic love; I'm talking about the level of care and attention to detail given to everything from the layout, to the organization of the bottles, to the wine tastings and specials selection. Everything is arranged by country of origin, denoted simply by the miniature flags topping the shelves. They keep everything really neatly laid out in general — you'll be hard-pressed to find a messy looking section or any bottles out of place. While they do have a number of wines on the higher end, the vast majority of the bottles sold here are in the $8-20 range.
The reason all of this is important to me is that it's a testament to what big vinophiles the Jin brothers themselves are. You can trust their recommendations knowing that they've carefully picked out every bottle they sell. The first day I discovered this place, I returned for a wine tasting later that night and ended up buying 3 of the 5 bottles I'd tasted. Probably the most success I've ever had at a liquor/wine store tasting! This place is a good 20-minute walk from my house so I've only been able to make my way over on nicer days – but if you live in the area, you need to make this your go-to wine shop, if only so I can live vicariously through you. You'll thank me later, I'm sure.
Had no clue this place was just down the street from me – what a pleasant surprise!
It's a rather small place but from what I saw, it has a good selection. It doesn't have that dingy local store feel where you feel like you're under surveillance as you walk in, nor that impersonal, "where the hell do I find anything?" feel of huge liquor marts. Feels cozy, clean and welcoming here.
I really liked that they had little notes on the shelf with background info on the brand/product and whether they had an additional supply in the back. So helpful!
Also, very friendly service and overall good vibe in here. Also, noticed they had a sale section with very reasonably priced wine.
These guys are awesome! They know wine! I went there as I forgot the name of the wine I bought last time but explained the test and whatever I remembered. Let me tell you he got me the wine! I will be going back! I also love their inspirational quotes on their sidewalk sign!
For real! They have a GREAT selection and amazing prices on everything. It's organized and clean. I feel like I'm at fancy store in the city! The staff is so nice and has great suggestions on things. And they have free delivery. It's always my go-to.

Will absolutely be back!
Love this place! They've got everything you need from wine to sake to the hardies.
The guys that run this venue are definitely chill and relaxed, usual ID checking but none of that "hm this guy looks too young" hassle.
The shop is divided and categorized relatively well for their small space. However it definitely packs a punch when it comes to variety.
They also have a chalkboard outside which has some kind of inspirational quote or a punny alcoholic joke (might be a good weather only thing).
regardless this place is great and is one of the few places you'll feel comfortable coming back to frequently!

The best liquor store I have ever been to.

Clean, organized, great selection, and laid back service – all amazing attributes for a local wine store to have.
