“Contrary to the Margherita, the Regular Pies are created using processed Mozzarella, which gave the application a heartier flavor.”
“I don't usually order Seafood on my pizza but you definitely can't go wrong with the Fried Calamari.”
“The sauce on the pizza is AMAZING plus it's super thin crust, so thin it's almost like a cracker.”

Tried their "cheese pizza" (can't be considered margherita without the basil!) If you like thin crust pizza this is the spot to be at. The crust is so thin you have to eat twice the amount you normally would to feel full. Since I came here as part of a pizza tour, the one slice/person left me feeling very unsatisfied and wanting more! The rotary oven is pretty neat.
Fast service,
good pizza pies
nice staff an there's meter parking.
Rest room was disgusting.
Prices is average
Great slices. Really unique oven allows for high volume of pizza coming out. Prices are a little high for the island, but it is worth it.
I have been attempting to eat some of the best pizza in Staten Island during my commutes through there, and I have to say that Joe and Pat's is my favorite so far. First, the ambience and the people make it an authentic experience that meets the expectation of a Staten Island pizza joint. The host was a little rude, but I guess that kind of makes it more real in this case. The guys making the pizza were nice and believers in their product. I chose the vodka pizza, and so glad I did. It was amazing. What I most loved here is the crispy thin crust. It is among the best, if not the best, I've had since I've lived in NYC. Nothing fancy here, but this is the real thing that deserves a visit if you love pizza.
Flavor of the pizza was decent but pricy for how small and thin it was. I believe one regular slice is around $2.50 and we also tried the vodka one which was I believe $3.50 per slice.
You would expect to get a decent size slice with a decent amount of dough. But no. The bread was incredibly thin and the slices were tiny. For a man, you will probably need about 5 to 6 slices to get full.
We also tried the garlic bread and that was pretty much flavorless.
Wished they have 2 Bros pizza here on Staten Island. A dollar per slice there gets you a much better deal
Best pizza on Staten Island! Love it here- we do mostly take-out. Have not been disappointed. To eat in is a bit more challenging, since the parking is street only and on Victory and Manor- very difficult.
First time here with family for New Year's Eve dinner. The gluten free pizza is perfect! They've nailed the crust- crispy yet tender and moist. They load the toppings on, which is the way I like it. I ordered the Royal pizza pie which I enjoyed immensely. I enjoyed it so much, I went back a second time for take out! Service was a tad slow, but worth the wait. You can take out or eat in here. Recommended!
I honestly don't understand most of the previous reviewers reviews of this place. Maybe I shouldn't have had such high expectations walking in however based on the other reviews I read their pizza "is the best around".
I walked in before any sort of "dinner rush" or so I thought. Just about 4:30pm on a Monday evening. I saw a host/hostess stand that was unattended. I looked to my immediate right upon entering and found a friendly woman at a cash register. I said "just one, dining in" to which she politely directed me to the unattended hostess stand. I stood at the stand until someone "yelled" at a person sitting at a table not paying attention…… Turns out that was the hostess, or so I thought.
She rushed to the table I was to sit at and was already on her way back to sitting down before I reached the table myself. As we walked past each other she didn't even say anything to me…? That was weird. Then, after reading the menu cover to cover about 3 times someone finally arrived….. Great it's the inattentive hostess!!! Here is how our first conversation went.
WAITRESS– can I get you a drink?
"oh you have beer, what kinds do you have?"
WAITRESS– oh you know, we have all kinds of beers. Anything you want really.
"Ok……. I'll take a molson Canadian
WAITRESS– oh sorry, we don't have that one. We only carry American beers.
"Ok, I'll take a Yuengling"
WAITRESS– like I said sir, we only carry American beers.
"Yuengling is Americas oldest brewery. Look…. Do you have a beer menu I can just look at or can you just tell me what you DO HAVE??"
WAITRESS– oh yeah, I guess so. Here you go……
Really!!!???!!!???!!!
Then I ask a simple question. I say "I'm sorry, I am not from around here. I see reviews online rant and rave about your vodka pizza. What is a vodka pizza, I've never heard of it before".
WAITRESS–I can't like describe it. It's like sauce but really good. I just……I can't put a word to it but I think it's made like with cream…. Heavy cream and some other stuff"
Ok………….? I order a pizza half vodka, half one of the other specialties. I also order what they call Buffalo wings. By the time the wings arrive she drops them off, seeing my beer empty and at the end of the table she says nothing, drops off the wings and leaves. A while later, after eating my wings (if you could call them that but I'm bias being from Buffalo) flag her down. I ask for another beer. She seriously said nothing and retuned a minute later with my new beer…. Gee thanks.
Finally, the pizza arrived. Not an unreasonable amount of time I just have not had the most pleasant experience so far, so I'm a little annoyed. I try a slice of the vodka pizza, then a slice of the specialty (pepperoni, meatball, peppers). It was pizza……. Wasn't bad, but wasn't all that great either. The vodka didn't really taste any different and the specialty had way too many toppings on it to actually taste anything other than the toppings. Honestly completely unimpressed with the pizza and horrible service.
Then I get the bill after being completely done eating waiting for the waitress to address my existence for what seemed like forever. 52.30!!??!! Really!!?? For what??? (2 beers; 1 domestic and 1 import), "buffalo" wings, and a pizza. I looked at the itemized bill. For my Sam Adams (domestic) it states on the menu DOMESTIC 4.50, IMPORTS 6.00. She charged me for two imports. Examined the rest of the bill……. She charged me too much tax too on her hand written receipt. Then I give her my card only to be told it's cash only. Maybe I'm blind but no one mentioned anything about this to me, never saw a sign or anything on the menu that said anything close to cash only.
Needless to say I will not be back.
