I went here with a friend the other day. I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. It is a cute lil spot. From the moment we entered the service was on point. The food was very good. I had the salmon and friend order the grilled chicken. Both orders came with salad. For dessert we ordered the flan which was excellent. I'm picky with my flan so that sealed an excellent dinner for me. 🙂 This is def one place I will go back to and recommend to friends.
I do NOT like this place. I gave is multiple chances. Food is way to greasy and girls have an attitude. Also I don't like to get into strong opinion type talk here on yelp, but I think that if your working a counter in a restaurant, you should know English. Even if its a Spanish restaurant in a predominately Spanish neighborhood. I'm Spanish and I speak it, but sometimes I have trouble getting my point across and confirming that point! I guess I start off on the wrong foot talking English because the counter girls always have an attitude and are rude.
the food: they have your typical Spanish restaurant menu, baked chicken, pernil, pork chops, mofongo, sandwiches, soups and salads. Food is greasy and doesn't really taste good.
price: average price for your neighborhood spot 5-15 bucks for orders with rice and beans.
