I came here since I was in desperate need of a green juice. The place was pretty clean and they had a lot of different veggies and fruits and all looked very fresh. I got my juice really fast the only reason I didn't give it better rating is because I found it really expensive. I paid over $8 for a medium size juice with 3 ingredients.
Came in for a large orange carrot juice and walked out with that and some papaya. This morning there was a slight wait. The man on register was a little hard of hearing. Overall, great local small business juicing for the people who work in the area. The juice and fruit were fresh.
This place did seem expensive at first but when I ordered juice drinks at other places I realized they cost pretty much the same. Staff is always very friendly here and service is super-fast. Plus they can make you any kind of customized version of anything you want … very consistent service and smoothies / juices! Definitely has become a regular stop of mine ….
As a huge fresh-pressed juice person, I can't say anything negative about this place given that they make solid fresh juices. You can choose from the wide array of options on the menu or make your own. On my second visit here, I was happy to see that the shop owner got a helping hand because the wait is not as long and he doesn't seem as stressed out!
I've walked past Juice Bar Plus, literally thousands of times and never gone in, until today. I'm a sucker for good soup, and during the winter, they have it. Stands to reason that people drink a lot less juice/smoothies when it's cold out, so I understand the decision.
What I don't understand is why the soup is A. expensive and B. boring The combination is a bad one. I'm going to hazard a guess and say that they don't make it in house. Granted with the juices they do, and that's great, but the soup has the blandness of a bag that's been in a fridge for awhile. Very disappointing.
The people are nice, the place smells really good, I appreciate independent vendors in a part of town where there keep being less and less of them, but I really can't recommend this place to anybody for their soup.

Hey, business owner! Your prices are too damn high.

I'd also recommend a pm wheatgrass shot. They give you a little piece of pineapple as a "chaser".
