“Not a bad location…definitely more seating and it does look swankier than other locations due to it being inside an Equinox.”

  1. The juice was great, I actually never heard of this place until my friend suggested it to me. The strawberry smoothie, watermelon smoothie, and mango smoothie were all delicious. The fruits definitely tasted fresh as well.

  2. It's no secret that I love Juice Generation. I frequent the Third Avenue location at least three times a week. Having said that, though, I prefer this location. It's bigger and they have more seating (like, actual tables and chairs, not just a counter.) During the summer, lack of seating wasn't an issue, but now that it's getting colder…let's just say I'm not keen on freezing my buns off for a smoothie.

Aside from seating, this location has everything the other location has — same delicious smoothies, same friendly service, same raw food options.

  3. My sister found this place near our hotel and got breakfast here every morning during our stay in New York. She is a vegetarian and is following a strict diet. Finding this place near our hotel was one of the greatest highlights of her trip. It reminds me of a Jamba Juice with a little more expensive tag. I enjoy their drinks and definitely was grateful for their Aloe Shots. I had trouble with going to the restroom during my trip and the Aloe Shots gave me that extra boost I needed.

  4. I've never quite understood the hype of the juicing thing. Juices squeezed fresh from veggies and fruits … I mean, I like that the pulp is gone and all.  The juice looks nicer, but I have always had difficulty really buying into it.  However, Juice Generation has a PB Split Smoothie that I can totally get behind.

Peanut Butter, banana, almond milk … that's always a good combo in my honest opinion.  I just wish that shyt didn't cost almost $10 each time.

  5. Inside the Equinox, this little cafe is great for take out of juices (fresh of pre-bottled), health shots, smoothies, acai bowls, and "sweet" healthy snacks. I did not like "the professional;" but that might be a matter of taste. The acai bowls are filling and guiltless. There is a prepackaged kale oatmeal raisin cookie that is thin and crispy, just slightly too sweet for me. Plus, it's made with margarine, which I'm guessing was expensive considering the time machine trip back to the 90s to get it. Come on people. Can't wait to try the vegan macaroons and donuts.

  6. I go here at least 3 times a week for their acai bowls and a macaroon. Good spot, it's small so long lunch lines can be a bit annoying. Highly recommend the acai bowls – they fill you up and taste great.

Service is pretty good, only 2 seats so no room to sit and eat there especially during peak hours.

  7. I go here for lunch 2-3x a week as it's near my work and mainly get the Joyful Almond smoothie (almond & coconut milk, almond butter, banana & cacao nibs) and I add Plant Protein (hemp, rice, quinoa, pea).  Very natural tasting with no added chemicals – none of that Myoplex, MetRx, crap.

Also have had the Acai Bowls & Coco Acai shake, all of which are very good and healthy.  I like that their shakes & foods don't have that processed chemical taste you get at some "health food smoothie" places (ie, Jamba Juice).

Yes, it's pricier here, but you get what you pay for – real food products.  And in my opinion, your long term health is worth that extra dollar or two.

  8. Not a bad location…definitely more seating and it does look swankier than other locations due to it being inside an Equinox.

Not sure what's up with the music..they're probably just on the same music system as Equinox.  Expect to wait about 10 minutes for your order-even without a huge crowd-but it was done right.
