  1. The salads here are all great and filling! I wish they had a fresh salad bar at this location. Their kale chips are great! So crunchy, salty, and spicy it hits the spot. You def feel guilt free when you eat here. They make a good raw falafel salad with secret sauce. I also enjoy the truffle protein salad as well. Im not as into the drinks as most of my friends because they are loaded in calories. I much rather eat the greens then drink them. They always have testers of the new juices so you can try before you purchase. Their soups are great also: moroccan  chickpea, lentil, and butternut squash. Those are made fresh there. Its a take out place, theres really no seating. Enjoy

  2. I can not deny the quality, the selection, and the helpfulness of the staff. But $10.99 for a green apple, spinach, kale, and lemon juice? Cool Juice Juice Bar on 101st and Broadway makes me the same exact juice for less than $5, fresh pressed to order.

    I'm just sayin'.

It's a great and healthful treat on the run and my health is important to me. That being said, my money is better spent on a daily basis. Once and a while, it's a wonderful morning boost. I could not afford to spend almost $11 on juice each morning. I know I can buy healthful foods and drinks for cheaper.

  3. If you've been to one Juice Press you've been to them all.

    * Expensive cold pressed juices
    * Silly, rambling postcards bestowing their disdain of animal proteins
    * Copious amounts of raw foods – some tasty, some gross
    * Lululemon yoga pants as far as the eye can see

Etc… The cold pressed juice scene attracts a certain type of consumer, and no matter where in Manhattan you go, you're sure to encounter all of the above. The 3rd Ave. location here is no different, though I notice they tend to have far more free samples than most other outposts throughout the borough. Had it not been for said samples being widely available, there's no way I would have tried the raw oatmeal… and that stuff is really, really delicious.

If there's not already a Juice Press within spitting distance of your apartment, hold your breath for 45 seconds and I'm sure one will sprout up out of nowhere. It's slowing becoming a ubiquitous staple of NYC living.

  4. This juice press is awesome! Well, I love ALL juice press stores but this one has a lot of food options that other stores don't have.

This specific store has many salads and dishes that I haven't seen before as well as juices and smoothies that I think are unique to this location. They have free water but they usually only have one sample where the  21st and Greenwich location have a lot more. I am not sure if this is true, but I heard that if you run and post a picture of your shoe and show it to them you get a free juice which is such a nice way to get people to run more! Maybe I'll test it out when I stop being lazy

  5. We order the d-tox super smoothie.  The smoothie was pungent in flavor, lots of coconut but good.  We also had a falafel salad which was tasty and actually consumed as a side salad with our lunch.  Not sure if it would have did the trick as a meal but the raw falafel was good.

  6. Umm what just happened?? I came in ordered the same thing I order at any juice place and pay $5-$7 for and paid $12…

Ok it's cold pressed, fine it's organic! I was already there and ordered. I'm ready for the best juice of my life!!

Unfortunately all I could taste is the ice..
    I ordered
    Coconut water with:
    Lemon
    Ginger
    Pineapple
    Kale

There was no flavor at all and the drink itself was very small.

Not going to be trying this place again.

  7. $12.50 for a green smoothie. What?!!? I expected it to taste like magic but I found the texture a little off putting, and it wasn't any better or worse than other smoothie bars.

  8. Came here post-Central Park run and got the Fountain of Youth smoothie. LOVED IT so much that I decided to get it again at the LES location but sadly, it didn't taste as good as this location. SIGH

Definitely worth the $10 at this location though!
