  1. Amazing juice bar in west village. I normally am not eating much at dinner (that was a lie btw); hence juice press is a perfect place to feed myself  before workout.

Juice was freshly made from raw, and you could always opt for more ingredients. I ordered the berry blend smoothie, only to realize that they also had the smoothie bowl option, which I'm going to try next time.

This place was a bit pricey, however quality has been justified.

  2. Doctor Green Juice and Love at First are my favorites. You get all the greens without the aftertaste. How great is that?!

The kale chips are great to snack on, and the vegan Ravioli is a must try, too.

  3. I always feel some kind of way about spending $5+ for 8 oz of juice… but it's so good and I'm in New York, maximum, once a month.  Although it is basically the size of a walk-in closet, this location is my favorite because of the amazingly hilarious postcards and bookmarks and whatnot they have inside.  I literally searched for this specific one and picked a different bus line to get to NYC just so I could get to this specific Juice Press.

  4. An awesome smoothie and juice bar with tons of healthy options in my neighborhood on Prince Street. I've only tried the Fountain of Youth smoothie with the Priviotic boost, but I cant wait to try many more things.

  5. Products are nice, vegan food is well prepared. But ordering on seamless then the order being carried by Postmates sucks – worst service on earth, i.e. delivery guy doesn't show up, canceling order without notifying you, can't find address, etc. basically enough to elevate your blood pressure hence offset the benefits of healthy eating. I'm sure it's a two-way street, delivery guys who are Postmates contractors prob don't even get tips since it's just terrible and hence they will continue to offer the worst delivery service ever. Juice Press, why on earth would you use Postmates when you are already on Seamless?

  6. Cute shop located in soho! The service was extremely friendly and I really enjoyed the coffee based smoothie I got–the Harvey Wallbanger ($8)

It was a bit pricey, but what do you expect from a New York health store? The quality is great though, so I don't mind paying the extra $$$.

  7. Clean. Green. Protein. You must try this smoothie. It will change your life. I decided to treat myself with this ridiculously expensive smoothie but it's worth it. Will definitely be coming back here to 'treat' myself and try different smoothies.

They always have daily samples of juices and food. For food items I would recommend the raw oatmeal and spicy kale chips. I'm not much of a juice person so I can't recommend any. I think you can ask for samples if you want to try the cold pressed juice.

  8. Since Jamba Juice has decided to kill me ultimate smoothie lover, the Matcha one, I've been looking for a rebound…

I was wandering and wandering and just wandered right in here.  They had a variety of samples on the counter which was super fun to try but what I really wanted was something frosty on a 40 degree day…Cold brew? dates? almond butter?  You got me.  I went with the Harvey Wallbanger With the Works, which is cold brew with dates, frozen banana, almond milk, almond butter, cinnamon, and vanilla.

All in all it was pretty good- clean tasting, thick, just how I like my smoothies.  One odd thing however was this kind of pasty feeling it left in my mouth.  Probably from the almond butter and banana, but it wasn't exactly pleasant.  The service was kind of iffy that day but I wasn't in a rush so it didn't matter.

Yes, everything is raw, so yes, it's ridiculously expensive.  But just think about it as treating yourself to a frozen treat that's probably healthier than ice cream, but just a delicious. 🙂  Would probably be back to try other smoothies, budget permitting.

They also carry pressed juices and a variety of raw goodies.  Equally as expensive, but for those of you who are into that, go nuts.
