Hit or miss. Some days the salads are well made and mixed. Other days it looks like the salad is half chopped with a glob of dressing barely mixed in. When done right, the Hudson Valley Mix or the Thai Chicken Crunch are great options for a healthy lunch/dinner.
There was a little more than just salad here, such as smoothies 😛
Anyways, I had the california salad, which consisted of chicken, egg whites, almonds and an avocado amongst tons of leaves. It was okkk…didn't taste as fresh as some other salad spots I've been to.
My wife and I went here during our vacation there, and they have all kinds of fresh salads. I wanted the extra 300 calories and had mine put in a wrap, but I didn't have to do that. My wife couldn't finish her's without the wrap.
The service is fast, and you can add your own items, and dressings. It is a little expensive tho.
Came here on a Tuesday around 12:45pm and it was packed. The line wrapped around. I remembered to get the re-usable bowl this time = WIN! I got the buffalo chicken salad today with lemon vingerette dressing. It was good – the lemon dressing definitely compliments the salad – I don't quite prefer the tortilla chips inside but overall it was a good. I can see that a lot of people are regulars here! – I will probably be back from my salad of the week xD
Price range is def good for typical salads that are bought instead of home-made – some places can get expensive in comparison to what you spend if you actually made it yourself – but I guess we pay for convenience XD!
Just Salad is a necessary evil. Can't say the service is the best here, but girls gotta have her salad.
Just Salad definitely tops Fresh&Co in terms of variety. The salads are always pretty fresh and the bread is good. I would recommend the Smokehouse Steak Salad. It's my go-to salad.
Beware if you order on Seamless: I feel as if they always get my order wrong and one time I only got 5 small pieces of chicken. 'Twas a sad day. Also service in store isn't much better. I once waited 20 minutes for a salad. I was one of two customers in the store. Sigh.
The salads are large and amazing and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.
I'm disappointed in myself for going to Campus Eatery to get salads for such a long time!
a bit on the pricey side but I expected that. I was really confused when 1st coming here because the menu is very extensive and many things seem to cost extra. I felt rushed as well. I ordered a wrap and the bread and chicken seemed a bit dry and stale. Will not be returning
I can pinpoint the problem of this place with one word: consistency. When I get salads at other places, such as Whole Foods or Chop't, the amount of greens that I'm going to get is already put in the plastic bowl. Here, they kind of do whatever they feel like doing. Sometimes, they put a bunch of ingredients in there and sometimes, they're really stingy. Either way, it's hard to figure out the right salad/dressing ratio when you have no idea how much salad you're actually getting. My salads have turned out either really bland or overpowering with dressing. Also, some of the people who work here don't know how to chop a salad. I have gotten this one guy twice whose blade barely touches the surface of the chopping board…not acceptable.
