  1. This is a really nice spot for a quick bite. I have been coming here for some time.

I have tried the 3 flavor cake, honey melon cake, sesame red bean ball, cheese cake, sweet rolls which aren't really sweet.

The coffee is pretty good and I usually get the watermelon smoothie. Fresh watermelon with crushed ice. delicious on a 95 degree day.

Plus I have never been cursed at or given rude service. Well not that I know of, I don't speak Chinese.  Just kidding service is really friendly and fast.

So since I cant always make it to 8th avenue all the time this place is ok in my book.

  2. I got the almond cake from here which was a very nice treat .  It's not too sweet, but just hits the spot.  I would definitely be back here, it's not too far from my job and is a quick cheap lunch option available in the neighborhood.

  3. I always come here because its right there on the street by the 59th R/N metro. It also always serves me for Chinese baked goods during the week when I'm too lazy to explore as usual. The baked good thus far are ok, nothing to scream about but they give me the impression of my favorites, sponge cake and japanese cheesecake. I don't know if they actually bake the goods but it doesn't seem like it.

I have also tried their bubble tea and the milk tea variety is good hot or cold. There is a language barrier sometimes if you aren't Chinese. Good luck!

  4. Eh bakery. If it's close by then why not. But you could just walk a couple of blocks to 59th st and 4th ave instead. Nothing special to report on. It's a regular and typical asian bakery with the breads, buns, and drinks.
