Nice enough sandwich shop, self-serve coffee bar on the left, orders taken at the counter in the back. Several tables, free wi-fi. Service staff is nice enough; service is fast.. I have stopped in for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. A small coffee and a bacon and egg sandwich went for $4.50. A nice change of pace from the Asian restaurants in the area.
Was in NJ visiting a friend in Palisades Park, and after playing poker for 2 hours we decided to order in some pizza. Someone insisted on ordering from this place, and went to pick it up. When it arrived, the looks on people's faces I will never forget and a collective "WTF is that". He explained that one of the pies was a sweet potato crust. The crust was basically cut breadstick bites on the outer rim. This was served with cheese and chicken topping. The other was a beef bulgoki pizza with cheese crust which had the size and thickness of a wheelbarrow tire. In terms of taste, I enjoyed some of the toppings, but the cheese is very bland and an afterthought in this pie. Much more attention given to the other toppings. The crust rim on both were very bready, but quite soft. The sweet potato crust is like soft potato bread, and the thick cheese crust was a loaf. Just not my cuppa tea. Overall, not bad. Was interesting to try something new, doubt I'll ever order it again though. This is the kind of pizza you probably had to grow up with to understand.
This is the definition of a hole in a wall restaurant. You probably wouldn't try this place out if someone hadn't recommended it to you.
In my recent visit, I was hangry and agitated by a traveling-someone and expected food to literally absorb all the rage boiling inside me. Boy, oh boy the K Combo pizza did just that.
With the perfect ratio of sweet potato, cheese and vegetables this pizza deserves a healthy two thumbs up.
Please note, if you want cheese bites on your pizza, you have to ASK FOR IT. (Uh, why did I not know this on my second visit?)
Deducting a star for its' poor decor. I feel like I'm eating in a New York City subway station.
Wow. Delicious pizza. We ordered the sweet potato stuffed crust with half bulgogi and half vegetarian. However we received shrimp instead of bulgogi which was still delicious so it didn't matter, but I'm only dropping one star because of the mistake of the order. Other than that I will definitely try again!
This is a Korean style pizza place which delivers in the Fort lee/Palisade park/Ridgefield park area. Korea has their own fast food menu such as a bulgogi burger in mcdonalds or burger king. This place reminded me Pizza pie of the Pizza hut in Korea. Sweet potato mouse, cheese bite crust and bulgogi topping. Pizza has hint of sweetness because of sweet potato mouse.
They have K combo also, it's Korean style combination pizza. They also offer chicken wings and spicy rice cakes, they are good. My husband loves their spicy rice cake.
If you want to have American style pizza this isn't place for you.
Staffs are very friendly, delivery is also fast. I never been to the restaurant itself to pick up or dine in. So not sure how small this place can be. But It is definitely helping to deal with my homesickness who spent most of childhood special days with Korean style pizza like this.
I never actually ate at the place as this is more of a delivery. there really isn't a korean pizza place in the area and this place is great. they have the cheese sweet potato crust which makes it korean style pizza. they have korean toppings such as bulgogi and kimchi. they also have a garlic sauce which is like crack. try to ask for extra if you can.
I'm going to change my gender to pizza, because everyone wants a pizza me. Heh heh. My friend kept coming to this place and posting IG pics, so I had to take the trip out to NJ, the armpit of America, to try it out. I came here with my girlfriend and we were excited to try this under-the-radar pizza joint. From my understanding, this place is more of a take out/delivery place? I had no idea. Do not expect to walk into this place and enjoy a restaurant. This place is a spitting image of Christina's/Cherry Valley if you're from Queens. But just like those delis.. This place is POPPIN'.
I ordered the K Combo 12 inch pizza, with the cheese and sweet potato crust, w/ sweet potato drizzle. I wanted to try out the wings so I got 10 soy garlic chicken wangs. Yes I said wangs not wings. Let's start with the wings. Underwhelming but I expected it. It's pretty much fried chicken, very crispy and salty, that was kind of dipped in soy garlic. Not bad, but I don't know if I'd get it again. Now the pizza… Just magnificent. The crust oozes with cheese and sweet potato. The pizza itself is just a combo pie right? Left. I mean wrong. The balance of flavors is really good. Good meat to veggie ratio and everything is made fresh. There is this garlic sauce, that's mind blowing! So good! It might be a mixture of garlic and ranch? But there's this creamy bite to it that just complements the doughyness of the pizza, and the flavors of the k combo. The garlic sauce is a 5. All in, I think it was like 32 bucks. Pizza was $16 for 12 inches ($20 for the bigger size). $1.50 for the sweet potato drizzle, worth it if you look the sweet/savory combo. And the wings were 10 bucks.
So I rate this place a 4. The pizza, amazing. The wings, meh. The place itself, not exactly a sit down spot so I can't factor that in. It's all very good but something isn't letting me give it a 5. Potentially because the place isn't really an establishment and while the food is good, it's not a 5. It was pretty darn good. I will go back eventually and try some other pizzas and revert back. You should definitely try this place out – well worth the money.
