This place is near where I generally stay in LIC, which is my NYC spot when traveling for work when Midtown (where work is) gets too expensive.
Dining room is fine, good prices. Nothing remarkable, but solid enough to keep coming back.
My go to for any Japanese joint is chirashi: I want a variety of fish with just a little rice. You also can't fake it: bad sushi rice or poor fish will show. It's very nicely presented here. The quality is fine. Nothing to write home about, but at these prices, sufficient. I'll return.
My friends are in love with this place so I decided to check it out. I ordered the golden roll and my friend ordered something tempura. Both were pretty good and prices are pretty cheap. The place itself is pretty unassuming and clean.
