I have ordered from this place twice for takeout. The spot is cozy and quaint. I try and get the lunch special as the price is good. IMO they have the best regular rolls. They put enough fresh fish and they have e just the right amount of rice. The rice is of good quality. My wife has tried there special rolls and she was a fan. This is my go to place for lunch check special rolls. They are a bit pricey otherwise but I'd still order here.
Very good sushi. I would recommend the Tiffany Roll – deep fried California roll with spicy mayo on top AMAZING
I ordered take out and twenty minutes later the food arrived. Loved that because I was super hungry!
Everything was perfectly packaged and wrapped up well. The California salad was fresh with lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, avocado, and sweet carrot dressing! Yum! The miso soup was a huge serving. I had the 3 roll combo for $13.50 and chose two shrimp tempura rolls and one spicy shrimp roll. All done very well!
I will definitely order take out from them again!!
Kawaii is right next to my dentist's office so I thought I'd give it a try and I was glad I did. I've become a regular since then and I don't have any complaints. The specialty rolls are great, I love the lobster roll and the tiffany roll especially. I also really enjoy their shumai and kani sushi. And their salmon teriyaki is just fantastic.
The service is always fast and friendly when you eat in and when you order delivery. I was shocked to find such a great sushi place in this neighborhood lol. Highly recommended!
Kawaii….. where have you gone wrong????
the first time I rated you, I gave you 5 stars….. I have now updated my rating to a 1 star.
I went there about a month ago with my mother, and we both ordered the chicken teriyaki. I found a small bug in my teriyaki sauce, and since the restaurant was busy, I did not want to make a big scene. I simply called the waitress over and whispered it to her. she made a face as if to say "omg" then took my plate away and while heading to the back of the restaurant she ran into the owner and the two spoke in a foreign language and then went in the back. a few minutes later the owner came to my table and apologized and blamed the veggies in the plate for having the bug, and they would make me a fresh order and bring it out shortly. as he was walking to the back of the restaurant, the two men behind the sushi counter must have asked him what was wrong because he pointed back to my table (with his back to me so he didn't see me looking), indicated something small with his fingers, then waived it off like nothing. NOT COOL.
then about two weeks ago I went with my fiancé, my best friend and her husband. After we placed our order we saw something running along the wall. A COCKROACH!!!!!!!!!!
never again will I go back!!!!
