  1. AWESOME lunch specials!!!

I went to Kaze Sushi Takeout for lunch and it was seriously the best decision I made that day haha. I love sushi and this place has the best lunch specials. You can get any two rolls for $4.95!! That is incredibly cheap and the sushi is pretty good! I had the smoked salmon roll and a regular California roll. This is now going to be my go-to sushi place for lunch.

Also, the place does have tables so although it's called Kaze Sushi Takeout, you can still sit with your coworkers and have a nice lunch.

  2. This is a low end sushi restaurant in a strip mall next to a bodega. The first time I went here was 3 months ago and I ordered a salmon roll. They gave me a smoked salmon roll instead of what I ordered. I almost threw up when I chewed on a bone from the fish. Maybe it was a bad batch. I went again today bc all the reviews are so good and I wanted to give them another chance. This time I got the salmon roll I wanted. It was fresh and they rolled it quickly in front of me. The menus are held together with tape. There is not a comfortable seating area. And one table was covered with what looked like the owners office work.. I'm not sure why they have 4 stars.. I guess since they are very cheap. But that's not a good thing when eating raw fish

  3. no frills sushi place if you need something fast and decently cheap. rolls are ok, my one complaint is i don't like how they do their spicy salmon/tuna…typically the sauce is mixed in but their rolls are essentially the regular salmon/tuna with sauce drizzled on top. lunch specials are cheap (2 rolls for $4.95) but you have to pay a dollar extra per roll for anything with eel, tuna, yellowtail, so typically it comes out to around 6 or 7 bucks. there is seating but the place is small and not really fit for dining in.

  4. $5 for a lunch special!  Tastes so good!  The yellowtail scallion was incredible.  Didn't mind the quiet folks behind the counter.
