The masses flock to midtown and wait in line forever for street meat (sure it is great), but those in the know who don't want to schlep to midtown come here to Kazi halal. I tried to leave a review a while back, but yelp did not have them listed…glad to see they are here now. I really like this place. The guy that works here at night is very nice. The portions are large and the prices are very fair….used to be 3.99 with a soda, now I think it is 4.99. Most importantly the food is excellent. Much better than your average street meat. I don't do street meat often, but when I do, this is a great place. I should mention, I really like how when you order a pita (on the side) the guy puts it on the grill and then puts some white sauce on the pita while it toasts…this makes it a million times better. I always ask for extra crispy and that he not cut it up….try this, you will thank me.
