I arrived on a Saturday night at 3am. I didn't know it was open this late, but somehow it was. My friend ordered a 10 piece and I got a free combo meal (apparently someone drunk left it on the counter after paying for it). Huge win for me.
The two women behind the counter were extra fun and sassy. We sang "fry that chicken, fry that chicken" as they filled up the bucket. And, as we were leaving, they complimented us for being great white people. Now that is some fine service.
These guys are all over Harlem and the Bronx. I thought I already reviewed this one. I like it better than Popeye's because it's local and faster to get your chicken. It's not as good as Charles' Southern Fried Chicken on Freddie Douglass in Upper Harlem, but this place always hits the spot.
