  1. Did the Halloween Bar Crawl NYC for this halloween. Took an uber from out hotel. Was actually planning to go to another spot but we passed this one and say PIZZA so we halted the uber to get out. It was late and I was hungry and Pizza fixes everything.

The bar has a great layout. It goes throughout the whole place so you can always find a spot to squeeze and order a drink. The bartenders were very nice and attentive. My friends ordered a pumpkin beer and a sangria. The sangria was super wine-y oh my. It was ehhh blah. The wine took over the whole drink but it was a wine that was too sweet and tart. Gave you a fishy face when you drink it. I did not try the beer but my friend said they have had better.

The personal pizza does not take long at all to come out. I ordered the white pizza with chicken and tomatoes. I wish I got the red sauce pizza because something about this pizza was just dry. It was crunchy and the chicken and tomatoes had a great flavor but there is nothing like having that red sauce to tie it all together and make it less dry. Womp. I shall try this spot again!

Bathrooms are clean and look pretty new.

  2. This place is a cheeeeel spot right outside of times square. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my birthday party of 10, they put tables together and were okay with extra people (late stragglers) coming in to join us. We all got different pizzas and shared~~ I got the CPR and it was the best decision at the pizza table.

  3. apparently it is own by the same owner as pony bar(next door)

it is a bit more quiet than pony bar so we decided to come here and just relax and have a beer

quite a great beer collection here

note to self: must try the pizza next time!

  4. We stopped after walking around most of the day. We had been to the Pony Bar a while ago and thought we'd check the place next door out. Same beers as Pony Bar, but with pizza? We're in.

We ordered beers and shared the honey delight pizza – spinach, sun dried tomatoes, ricotta, and honey. Great!

Also fun fact: they probably have the cleanest public bathrooms in all of New York or maybe it just felt that way after that day's earlier experiences.

Definitely keeping this place in mind next time I'm back in the city.

  5. I've been to the Kiabacca Bar twice — once for a few beers at happy hour, and once for a pizza (and a couple of beers).  They have a larger than most beer selection, but nothing too extreme (at least when I was there). All of the beers I had were Singlecut Billy 18-Watt IPAs. It was a pretty decent IPA. I was pleasantly surprised at how hoppy it was, and it was even better because it was only $5 at happy hour and they have true 16-ounce pours.

For my pizza I had their "Conflicted", which consisted of prosciutto, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, arugula, and mozzarella. The crust was good — crisp and chewy, and the quality of toppings was appropriate. They were a little heavy with the garlic, but I didn't mind. Overall I enjoyed my pizza.

Decor is on par with other bars in the area — meaning pretty basic furnishing, but stylish enough.  If I lived in NYC, I'd probably be a regular at the Kiabacca.

  6. Love this place it is my Monday night spot as they have pizza specials $9 for their pies. Bring a friend and share.
I celebrated my birthday here in March and everyone had a blast. They have good beers on tap and cider. The bartenders are really cool and they let you sample the beer before you try it.

Pizzas they sell them by the pie. Many insteresting flavor combos. They have a specialty one called The Alexander Hamilton i highly recommend. Also the Conflicted and Bro heavy. All the flavors ive tried have been good. They are about $12 per pie. Cool and chill place to just enjoy a drink and good pizza. Their wings are meaty and really good i recommend them! They also have sandwiches although i havent tried them.
Prices are what you would expect for the area. Around $10 for apps and $10-15 for pizza but the good thing about Kiabbaca is that each item is big enough to be shared so it lessens the blow if youre a BOB like myself and want to split with another cheap bastard.  Apparently same owner as Pony Bar next door. So if Pony Bar is too crowded get some good grub and beer here. Or go to Pony Bar if you just want to drink.

  7. This place is a great alternative when you're trying to go to Pony Bar next door but can't get in. Fast service – albeit not the brightest (asked for a wheat beer and got a lager instead?), never super crowded, and an eclectic mix of new vs old music (Jimmy Eat World and Blink 182? I bet kids these days don't even know who they are…).

Their "bar food" is better IMO – good kinds of things like guac and stuff. Mmmm

  8. This place is a GEM, I tell you.

At 12 AM, my friends were craving pizza, wine, and beer. Lo and behold, Kiabacca is open until 4 AM and serves pizza, wine, and beer.

The pizza is good, drink selection is fun, but the chicken wings are actually the best thing they have. The wings are not breaded and simply grilled in the pizza oven and you can actually taste the chicken and not feel like human trash after eating them! Score!

Music selection is 90's-00's emo/rock. Perfect place to eat pizza and scream-sing Linkin Park.
