Service was really slow, I made a wrong decision coming here when it was raining. $6 for any kimbap is expensive but this truck actually have one of the cheapest prices. Still I rather spend it someplace else where it can fill me up because one roll of kimbap was just too small for my hungry stomach. I ordered a beef kimbap, it came with a side of kimchi and some spicy mayo sauce. It wasn't bad but my roll was falling apart. It also comes with miso soup. The soup doesn't taste like miso soup but soup from ramen powder. I threw that away after two sips.
This particular food truck is here to cater to the growing number of Korean and Asian students at Baruch. That's all it is. I don't think they expected to create another food-truck frenzy, and they haven't but I also think they deserve to be acknowledged. And the best way I know how is through Yelp.
SIDENOTE:
There's another Asian food truck in the area, IKimchi. Their food (the food from IKimchi) can be comparable to halal meat with a side of iceburg lettuce and flavorless kimchi that they pass off as "Korean" since college students are drawn to cheap, greasy, filling food that they can swallow whole before running back to study hall.
SO I RECOMMEND KIM NA FOOD TRUCK, instead.
Kim Na food truck, though, offers another cheap, filling, but healthier and more delicious eating option for those same students. It's just as cheap and just as quick, but authentic and delicious. They have a small menu of ramen, rice and meat combinations, and kimbap (which are essentially sushi rolls with the raw fish replaced with beef, chicken, pork, crab meat, or more veggies). And the best part of Kim Na's kimbap is that they don't try to cheap you out on the filling by stuffing the kimbap with rice.
I was drawn to the food truck, not by the line of students, but by the sweet smell of sesame oil coming from the truck!!!! It reminded me so much of my childhood when I used to make kimbap with my grandparents. So nostalgic.
I'll definitely be back for cheap kimbap and ramen. Preferably on a warmer day, when eating & walking is more acceptable.

A 32oz. container of Ramyum starts at $5 for a regular to the Curry Ramen for $7.
You get fixing and a small container of kimchi.
It gets confusing if you never ordered from here. The lines are random, you'll have to distiquish between the people who ordered and the people who are waiting to order.
Place your order and wait to be call and hope someone else don't take your order.
The regular lady and man who makes assembles the order are always arguing!
My favor- Curry Ramyum for $7- not too spicy, just enough to warm me up on a cold day. Rate 4/5.

Every time I order from this food truck the food is always fresh and full of flavor.

Going to Baruch College, there are limited options for quality food for decent price.
I spent $7 for the kimbob with miso soup and kim chi and was struggling to eat the last bite.
Kim Na offers Korean comfort food which is great for a college student who just wants something filling to eat before their busy day of classes commence.
You can get your cheap ramen on from this truck. Regular ramen without any meat is only 5 dollars. If you want meat with the order such as chicken it's an additional dollar or 2. The lines can get pretty long during lunch hours (Because of Baruch) and I usually just get this when I eat a late lunch but it's pretty good especially if you're on a budget. It comes with an egg in the soup and seaweed, beansprouts and scallions with a small side of kimchee The broth is not really anything amazing but for 5 dollars , can't go wrong with this.
I've had the ramen and udon here.
The breakdown is, its ok. Its something you could of made at home or eaten at a food court but hey, you found a food cart that sells it.
Soup was piping hot, noodles weren't overly mushy, and portion size was satisfying for one person.
I didn't have any of the kimbap. I'd probably come back if I was in the area for quick lunch or something.
It definitely helps with the variety in the food truck scene for NYC. Welcome change from halal carts even though thats delicious too.
