Kimchi Grill
“So far, my hands down favorite is the short rib bowl with fried rice – although I'd probably order & highly recommend the multi-grain brown rice.”
“Even though the concept of mixing Korean and Mexican foods sounds bizarre, the fusion is quite yummy.”
“Small and cozy with great service and original food we walked there after visiting the Brooklyn Museum that three blocks away.”

Kimchi grill was a delightful experience.
We attended the cherry blossom festival in the morning and Kimchi grill is just a few blocks away. Rather than stay in the crowded festival and eat mediocre and expensive festival food, my wife and I decided to come here.
Good thing there weren't too many people, there are bunch of tables for you to sit down to eat.
The order that I had was ordering 3 tacos for $10, which was a good deal. Each order came with water with a cucumber in it, that was pretty fancy. The beef short rib taco was something I saved for last, it wasn't amazing nor disappointing. But everything else about the restaurant was great.
My wife ordered 3 tacos as well and she also enjoyed herself. She also ordered a watermelon limeade which tasted exactly like it sounds like, I didn't particularly like it but she certainly did. This place is definitely worth trying.
Certainly enjoyed my lunch here. I got a short rib bowl with multigrain rice. I held off on the kimchi and daikon, based on personal preference. I enjoyed the added lettuce and carrots.Yum. Quite delicious and fulfilling. I also had a chicken taco which was also tasty. The limeade was refreshing. When back in the area I will certainly return. Very satisfying lunch! And I didn't have that bloated over stuffed feeling that can sometimes happen after lunch.
We ordered this for delivery one night. I got the pork bowl and my wife the pork burrito. We shared some kimchi fries.
We really liked the food – it was a nice fusion of Mexican and Korean food. It was certainly different than most places we're used to eating and this was welcome.
My only problem was the food wasn't especially hot when it arrived. It took a while to get to our place and I think we're on the edge of their delivery zone so we're going to chock it up to geography.
We'll definitely check them out again — probably in the restaurant next time.
Korean and Tacos?! What a time to be alive.
Got the 3 for $10 tacos. 2 Tofu and 1 KBBQ Short rib.
The tofu isnt exactly just Tofu. Its a tofu fafel, which is sooo delicious! Cripsy and full of texture.
KBBQ short rib has a sweet and savory taste to it, delish as well!
Got the large Kimchi fries as well. Shared it among two other friends and we struggled finishing our plate. I recommend getting the small fries to share if you're eating three tacos.
Tacos are on the smaller realm though. Shoutout to Racquel (i hope i spelled her name correctly). She was so sweet and patient with my indecisiveness.
I have been here many times- and enjoyed it- but it has been awhile. I haven't been since they expanded the menu and added drinks.
I just finished a Korean fried chicken taco and it was underwhelming. I remember loving it so I am definitely disappointed. Maybe it was an off night.
Will try a few more items for review another time.
Disclaimer: Likely a one-off experience.
Got this delivery. I'm right here in Fort Greene, and it took about an hour to get to me. No worries–it was super cold yesterday and the snow flurries might've affected travel.
The tacos were solid, but I've gotta be honest, they were cold. I think they'd been ready for a while before being scooped to go out the door. All the ingredients were tasty, but the tortillas were a little soggy.
I'll have to check this place out in-person next time. I'll update the review with that experience.
A friend recommend this place. I had the fish tacos 3 for $10 and the kimchi French fries. The tacos were good the Kimchi fries were also good definitely unique with all those toppings. The service was quick and everyone was friendly. The seating area is small only a few tables. Other then that I have no complaints.
1st for me eating Mexican Korean food.
I am trying to figure out what exactly was Korean in my dish! I guess the kimchi which is some sort of Cole slaw aka cabbage.
I ordered nachos with a very spicy drink that I didn't I particularly enjoy hence I only drank a bit.
Cute local little hang out.
