  1. This place definitely lives up to the great reviews. I've been wanting to come for a while and we decided to go on a Wednesday night around 8pm. There was technically a short line when we got there but we were offered to sit at the bar so we did that instead of waiting. The bar is actually fun because you have a great view of all the sushi being prepared!

One of the highlights is the complimentary miso soup and salad you get as an appetizer! I enjoyed the soup and for my salad had the ginger dressing which I liked. The sushi though, it was so good! I ordered a dragon roll and the spicy crispy tuna with a thumbs up next to it. This was unlike other sushi I've had as it comes with a big topping of crispy crunchiness! Definitely recommended.

The service was very friendly and didn't take very long. I could tell they really care about presentation. The sushi was very fresh as well. For dessert they give you a complimentary orange that has been cut into little bite size pieces for easy eating. Then to top it off a free piece of gum comes with the check!

  2. Without a doubt the best sushi I've ever eaten. The sushi here is second to none. It's obvious they take quality seriously. Ever since eating at Kim's the first time, I find myself comparing other sushi places that don't even come close. Kim's nails every single aspect on a customer level – they are so friendly. Soup and salad are always complimentary and they usually give a little side roll on the house. I've eaten in and taken out and the experience is always positive. The dining area used to be super tiny until they expanded it. They could double the restaurant and still probably have it always filled. Trust the reviews on here and try it out – you will not be disappointed.

  3. I'm not sushi fanatic but this place was great. This place looks like nothing special on the outside but lots going on the inside. One time we came and it was so packed we had to leave.

Simply put the food delivers and having been able to sit at the counter watching the chefs prepare it is great to see how much dedication is put into their plates and platters. They all look very good so the presentation is spot on and the waitresses were very nice, checked on us frequently and even offered to give us table seating after we requested it.

I had the spicy salmon which I can say was the only let down for me here but the dragon tail and the crispy tuna roll were were great. On top of this the complimentary salad with choice of dressing and hot miso soup are great additions and then fresh fruit after the meal is over. Had a great time here.

  4. So with all the hype about this place I had to try it…
    And won't be back again…
Maybe I should of came on a weeknight and not on a Saturday but I don't think the day would of changed my experience…
First of all let me start by saying the staff was very friendly and attentive my review is solely on the sushi..

I forgot which rolls I had ordered because it didn't wow me , the appearance of the rolls were beautiful but why do I care about presentation if I'm walking away still hungry….

At the end we got presented with some free rolls of some sort, it tasted burnt ..

I wanted to love this place because of the reviews but thumbs down… maybe I'll give it a try during the week … maybe I'm just spoiled at Momoya's in Bloomfield….

  5. Stick to salmon, tuna, or something cooked an you will be fine. But the super high reviews for this place are very puzzling. It's really not that great. It's acceptable basic sushi. The miso soup isn't GF.

Also, side note, the restroom is barely large enough for an adult human to fit in with the door closed.

  6. The rolls are delicious.   Super flavorful.   Service is somewhat gruff, but fine.  Appreciate that they give everyone miso soup and a small salad.   They spilled a drink on the woman next to us and offered her a gift card as a way of apologizing.   Not sure how much, but that was nice.

  7. I came straight here from work for lunch, it's a pretty small sushi restaurant with limited parking in the rear enterance. Once I walked in I was greeted and told I can sit anywhere I would like, I sat myself at the first table once I walked in…soooo I seen the reviews on here and I went in with so much ordered that the waitress said that's a lot for one person, and I replied I'm not normal lol…i went with the dragon roll, French kiss, randi tuna lover, and rainbow roll….While I waited I had complimentary salad and miso soup…about ten minutes later …wallah…magic… A awesome beautiful plate arrives with everything I had ordered…what a work of art..they really know how to feed the eyes before anything by the way they serve their sushi…the taste of them all were amazing, so fresh! … Mid way to my meal I was given another complimentary item, two peices of shrimp roll…I know I paid a lot but it was so worth it..its not your average, it beyond good and just topped all my sushi restaurants I've been to in the past ! a+++ service and a+++ sushi…MUST TRY IF YOU WANT GREAT QUALITY FRESH SUSHI

  8. Best take out sushi ever!! I have yet to experience dine in here, but my coworkers and I order from here for lunch. Fresh high quality rolls and free miso soups are always much appreciated!
