Very decent food, great service at reasonable price. Have been here few times and have always been a happy customer. Definitely recommended.
Super fast delivery of very tasty sushi!
We were in the mood for sushi tonight but nothing too fancy or crazy expensive. We ordered:
– Spicy Tuna Roll – very good
– Spicy Scallop Roll – very good
– Avocado & Peanut Roll – odd combo but very tasty!
– Eel & Avocado Roll – tasty and fresh
– Salad – good, it's a salad…..
– Chicken Tempura – I thought it was tasty, my daughters thought otherwise…..
Overall we were very satisfied with our meal and would definitely order from Kobe Sushi again.
I loved Kobe Sushi! The place is awesome!
For delivery they are lightning fast and the sushi always tastes extremely fresh.
If you decide to dine in the waitress and managersand really anyone working there is very friendly, they always greet you and say hi! You have a very warm feeling when you go there.
The service is super fast. It's a great spot to get some good quality sushi and have a good experience.
I love their kings role and their sashimi platter.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED. I've been here multiple times simply because I live down the block and the lunch specials are priced well. I recently ordered takeout via telephone of three orders of 3 maki roll lunch specials. When we got home we realized that they had mistakenly given us hand rolls instead of the normal rolls. I called them, imagining that the problem would be easily rectified by them re-making the rolls, and me simply returning the wrong order for the corrected version. I calmly explained the mix up and I was SHOCKED when my statement was met with attitude and a raised voice on the other end. The woman actually YELLED at me that she had asked me if I wanted hand rolls and that I had said yes. I explained to her that I did not think that happened, as I don't actually like hand rolls. She continued to scold me, and I explained that perhaps there was a miscommunication over the phone, but this was simply not what I wanted. I asked if she could replace the rolls, and she said she couldn't. I asked if I could return the rolls for a refund and she, again, said no. I say she "said no" but really she was FAR ruder. I could not believe it. I asked to speak with a manager and she said one would call me back and then swiftly HUNG UP on me. I was seriously stunned by the situation. I will NOT be back and I caution those who value any level of courtesy to stay away.
I came here for dinner with my friend on Sunday night in the bitter cold and our waitress was kind enough to immediately bring over some hot tea. Thank you!
I ordered edamame, an eel avocado roll, a salmon avocado mango roll and a Titanic roll and my friend got the same minus the Titanic roll + a miso soup.
We both very much enjoyed the eel roll because the eel was warm and fresh. However, the fish and the rice in the other rolls was very cold–below room temperature–and we were too hungry to let it warm up. Now, I realize these rolls shouldn't be warm like the eel roll, but they definitely should not be cold either. I never realized how unpleasant this would be. I'm sorry, but this is no 4-star sushi joint in my book.
I've had the lunch bento box a couple of times now and I can say that it is a decent, reliable, well-portioned little lunch for only about $8. The 2 or 3 roll sushi combo lunches come with either shumai or gyoza or edamame AND a salad or soup. Not a bad price for the area, with fast friendly service.
I've never actually eaten inside this place, but I have popped inside to pick up take-out and the place is TINY! I think there are only 3 tables with seating for ~10-12 people total. I doubt I'll ever eat inside, but I'll continue to order the lunch menu which is a great price for a filling meal.
Great for delivery – fast service and some wonderful rolls but my first in store dining experience there this week was mediocre. The sushi bar smelled "fishy." The service was not what we get from other sushi bars in the area, nor was the presentation of the rolls. Recommended for delivery and some well made sushi rolls but was disappointed when we actually ate sushi there.
Kobe is the sort of place that is local and you want to root for. I went with a friend from the neighborhood. I pointed out that there were better rated sushi places in town but they wanted to stick with what they knew.
First off we walked into the cheery confines of Kobe and were greeted liked we were walking into the Cheers bar. The manager and waiter knew our group and said hi and had a cheery bow.
We chose to sit at the sushi bar at my behest.
It was a brightly lit spot, with a colorful interior. The owner spoke with us a bit. Mostly noting how slow it had been and business was bad.
The sashimi and sushi came out and was extravagant. 2 of the 3 rolls we got were house rolls that were on the special board. Over all not too great. They were very large, making it tough to manage in a bite. They also were loose enough that while attacking the rolls we had trouble getting at them without falling apart. The quality was good for the most part.
If in the area, not too bad. And a good price
