  1. Made my long work day just right for lunch time! This place is located in a plaza around other businesses so plenty of parking space…it is an Chinese Japanese eatery so you can get your sushi and Chinese food fill…in my case I went with the works when it came to sushi…everything was priced well, not expensive at all…the place is very clean, with booth and chair seating…they were pretty busy when I was their with plenty of to go orders..NOW, back to my experience…it was amazing, and the waiter was so friendly even though she did forget my cola thru my entire meal (I wasn't charged for the soda though)..the sushi was great….I went with the typical Cali, philly, shrimp tempura roll and the special dynamite roll…( I even had left overs because I was so full)…pretty official spot that I am most likely will be making a frequent stop at for lunch breaks

  2. I was a little skeptical of some of the five star ratings, but they do not lie – this is a pretty nice place.  Good food; good service; lunch prices are cheap.  Background music was something Asian.

I will go back for more of the menu.  Today we had the General Tso chicken and the sesame chicken – both very good.

  3. I dislike downgrading a review, but despite Koi's truly outstanding cuisine, service seems to be deteriorating. This most recent visit was truly strange. In the middle of our meal, our server was sent on a purchasing mission outside the restaurant. The manager was left to wait tabkes but was more focused on doung bookkeeping. Part of the reason people go to restaurants is the service. As service disappears, we go elsewhere.

  4. Oh Thank You Thank You Thank You Koi Japanese/Chinese for giving Wayne an alternative to the tired and lacking China Kitchen.  We ordered food for take out last night and we were VERY happy with the flavor, the quantity, the prices, everything!  We ordered the steamed dumplings, BBQ ribs, an egg roll, a shrimp roll, General Tsao's Chicken dinner combo (comes with egg roll and fried rice), and beef with broccoli, with brown sauce and brown rice on the side.  Total price was about $35 and the food was excellent.  The steamed dumplings were awesome – tender, but still had that little "al-dente" feel that I crave, with a nice amount of flavored meat inside.  The egg roll and shrimp roll were very good – typical, but still good.  Hubby ordered the Gen. Tsao chicken (he wanted shrimp, but they don't make the shrimp for the dinner combo, and after working in the yard all day, I couldn't muster up any more energy to order everything separately, so chicken it was) – it was one of the better Gen. Tsao's he's had in a while.  There was actually chicken inside the breading, and the sauce had a nice little heat behind the sweetness….the heat snuck up on you after a couple bites.  The beef and broccoli was very tender, and the brown sauce had a nice amount of garlic (warding off any vampires!) – the broccoli itself, in both the beef and chicken dishes, was steamed, but still very crunchy.  All-in-all we were very happy to have a new 'go-to' place for our Asian cravings….  Keep up the great job (and apparently, the décor is very nice, too – I didn't go in for the pick-up, but my family member who did, commented on how nice it looks inside)….Will have to eat in one day….
