If you're in the mood for beer pong and darts come to this bar. Otherwise it's like a typical bar. Not too crowded so not a very long wait for service
If you've never been here, it's on the 4th floor – and the elevator isn't working. However, it's well worth the trip upstairs as this is a fun place to be with decent food and drinks that won't hurt the pocket!
Came here with my friends for a random Cinco de Mayo event. After we all finally found the place, we claimed a table on the side and had the following:
Food:
– Honey Mustard Wings: loved, loved, loved these!
– Rosemary Garlic: not a fan, but my friends love them
– Parmesan Fries: hmmmmm!
– Cheese Quesadilla: Decent
– Bulgogi Sliders: Avoid! This was so bland and came out relatively cold.
Drinks:
– Moonshine Margarita: sweet and hit the spot
– Jameson special: went down smoothly and valuable for $6!
Krush is a K-town staple among many of my friends. It's relatively fratty, lots of young Asian people, decent food, a good time every time.
Drinks:
Not too expensive, especially during their happy hour. Their shots can be super tasty, although I'm not sure how strong they really are. Try the Cinnamon Toast Crunch shot, or try asking for recommendations!
Service:
The bartenders are usually very friendly, recommending drinks and shots. They're pretty attentive when it's not busy, but when it gets packed, which it always does, it can sometimes be hard to get their attention.
Food:
The food is really a secondary thing here – people come to drink. But when they're drunk, that's when the food orders naturally come in. I've had the wings and fries here. The wings were kind of soggy, but still tasty. Depends on how picky you are about your Korean wings, and how many drinks you've had 😉 The loaded fries were really good though – I'd recommend those.
Ambiance:
Again, it's pretty fratty here. Lots of recent grads who work in the city. There are three pong tables set up in one area, which are super popular. Whether I've been playing pong, standing at the bar taking shots, or sitting chilling at a table with friends, I've always had a good time here.
Came here late on a Friday night and it was packed. Almost died walking up the 4 floors though bc the elevator was backed up. Once you make the hike up to the 4th floor you'll enter and see beer pong tables. Feels like I walked into a frat again.
Pretty packed -good place to chill with friends.
"Maze daze (~_~)"
This place is located on the fourth floor of the building and boy was it a difficult task just to get to the front door. I felt like I was in a game trying to solve a puzzle. The building did have an elevator that conveniently was broken down, so I had to take several flights of steps (which wasn't the hard part) but the step location wasn't all one way. I found myself looking thru the next door to go up I had to double check myself to make sure I actually was going up the right set of stairs And not trespassing into any other company or employee spot in the rest of the business.
"Packed but with beer and sweat"
So I went during cinco de mayo, the good thing I did this notice upon reaching the front door I saw numerous amounts of beer pong setups which I thought was pretty dope! I'd was ready to play at any moment till I saw the long line of people trying to get games in that was an instantly mood kill. The beers at the bar was insanely cheap and the bartenders made the mood even better with servicing!
"Overall"
Literally I would come back here when it is less crowded, I think I would enjoy my night again at this place. So give this a second chance when u come here
It was empty on an early Tuesday night. Other than the two of us, there were two other patrons sitting on the opposite side of the bar. If it was jam packed like most reviewers have experienced, I might've left, as I wanted to have a quiet evening with my SO. My wish was granted. The music is GREAT here – all the latest hits (I was definitely singing along when Mike Posner's Be As You Are came on) to put you in the mood for HH drinks.
They gave us a free margarita, but it was far too sweet for my liking – I appreciated the gesture nonetheless. It's nice when anything's given on the house!
We hadn't eaten and weren't planning on getting a big dinner so we looked through the short menu – everything is fairly priced but the three cheese quesadilla was meh, but we expected that. I mean what else would be in it other than cheese? BUT It actually lacked cheese – the one thing we hoped it would be filled with, but hey, whatever. We each had one slice and were done.
HH is until 8pm – BOGO for well drinks. I had one too many vodka w/ splash of cran before we left. Strangely, they were out of soda – we got there at 6pm. HUH? How do you run out of soda at a BAR. SO had to get 7Up.
The bartenders were mostly attentive and nice. I'm guessing there's a bouncer at the door every single day starting at 5pm, but we weren't carded (do I look THAT old??)
I almost got lost using the stairs leaving this place – it's not connected. You have to walk around the back on one of the floors to continue descending. The elevator smelt like toxic waste (on our way up). The buttons won't light up, so just hit 4 and wait miserably as you hold your breath. All in all, it's an okay experience. Nothing staggering about this place, so I'll throw this in my rotation of "casual early weekday HH" places – we've been hanging out in K Town more often due to the proximity of the PATH, so I'm sure I'll be back soon. I'd like to try the kimchi fries, but I'm definitely taking the stairs up next time, now that I've mapped out how to climb the most confusing 4 stories ever.
If you miss college this is the place to go haha
Beer pong and darts set up for your entetainment with many TVs to watch sports
Owner is a cool guy
Krush Bar is kinda gross but kinda passable if you want a casual bar where you can feel like you're in college again without judgement. Because that's what most of the people here are doing as well–reliving their youths by drinking cheap beer and playing beerpong. You'll see dudes in their late 20's high fiving each other after making a cup, while their bored girlfriends sit on stools by the wall. You'll also see dudes in flannel trying to pick up girls they face at the beerpong tables after destroying them in a game. Yup–just like college, only a little sadder.
