Typical neighborhood sushi joint. Rolls are fresh, big, sauces plentiful. Prices are what you expect from sushi. It is nice to have a place like this so far down Court.
Service was a little slow for a pickup order.
Of late, I have been ordering a lot of sushi delivery. Probably because (1) sushi makes for a tasty and comparatively healthy meal, and (2) it's fucking freezing outside.
When Kumo dropped off my last sushi deluxe meal, the miso soup was no longer inside the soup container. Rather, it had migrated into the now saturated napkins they provided. As far as I can tell (via sitting here and thinking about this, and not doing any actual detective work), there are two possibilities:
1. They knew they had faulty soup containers and strategically placed the napkins so as to soak up said soup and keep it off of the sushi.
2. This was just an accident, and I am reading way too much into the situation.
I think both are strong contenders, but let's just leave it at that. What really matters is that the sushi was quite fresh, and untainted by miso soup. I know you are very concerned about this situation going forward, and I promise to update you as it develops.

TL; DR: The fish is good quality. The packaging for delivery could use a lot of work.
Thanks Kumo for being open for lunch on a Sunday AND for being patient with my 1833737383th modification!!

I ordered via seamless and my delivery came before the estimated time slot and the portions were reasonable (the roll combo) to generous (unagi don). YES, I ate a TON. So what?
Had a groupon here. Food was mediocre. Service and ambiance was nice, but unfortunately it was the food that was really meh. While all of our sushi dishes were "nice", we were left with a dry feeling in our mouth. This and that simply needed more (unagi) sauce. Wasabi was also very weak – which may be an indication of lack of freshness. Doubt I'll be back.
Got a menu of this place in our mailbox here at the office and sick of Ginza and the hour plus wait for deliver decided to give these guys a shot. They had a deal where if u order online the first time you get either free Shumai or Edamame.
Got the 3 roll lunch special. I like that they give you soup AND salad because like the commercial says and is better than or. The Miso soup was good, not too watery and the salad was very good as well with cucumber and cherry tomatoes instead of just iceberg. The rolls were decent size and very fresh. Got the Snow Crab Avocado (never saw that roll on a lunch special menu before), Yellowtail Scallion and Spicy Tuna. I would recommend all of them. The free Shumai I chose were also very good with the right amount of sweetness. I will definitely order from them again ven if they are a bit more expensive than Ginza.
