GET THIS: Taro milk green tea. No ice. Half sugar. Add Boba.
The ratio of taro to green tea to milk was perfect. I was still able to distinctly taste the green tea even though it was layered with milk and taro! The boba here is also amazingly chewy and soft, thus absorbs the flavor of the tea really well.
Mm can't wait to come back!
A KTF across the street from my new job? I'll just have 1/4 of my check routed here to get that out of the way.
They let you customize the sugar level of your drink. Ordering regularly, the drink will be pretty sweet but I like it that way. The jasmine milk tea has a nice bitterness to it that sort of tames the sweetness. I don't usually get solely tea based drinks here so I'd assume that those might be sweeter than the milk teas by default since there is one less ingredient to dilute the sugar.
Employees are always attentive and deal with my indecisiveness when I'm not sure if I want a taro slush or jasmine milk tea (my usuals). They are also good about recommendations as well. Nothing but good to say. Super happy to have this so conveniently located in FiDi.
So yummy! The employees here are really kind. If you're new to bubble tea, they let you taste samples and figure out the the flavor of tea, level of sweetness and bubbles/jelly that you would like.
Out of all the places I've had bubble tea so far in downtown NYC, this spot is my favorite. The tapioca balls are the most flavorful, and they give you half sugar when you MEAN half sugar.
I wanted to leave a review based on a weekend visit recently, during which there was only one worker on a busy Saturday afternoon. While the line was very backed up, the girl at the counter was incredibly sweet and gracious to some customers who decided they would rather be rude than understanding of the fact that she was the only one back there. She moved like a tornado and got everyone's orders made in an amazing amount of time. If I had and extra thumb, I'd be giving 3 thumbs up!
Tried the mango green tea, half sugar, and it includes mango flavored jelly. Price is great for including jelly…less than $4…I will be coming back here. It's located when within the Carvel complex next to subway…. There's a sign outside that showed KungFu which made me just walk into a complex and I was in the right place…No signs other than that to show you where the shop is..once you walk into the Carvel it's on the left side….Fast service too!
Yay! A Kung Fu Tea place in wall street! There's also a ViVi that's close by too, but I love that kung fu is really convenient. Plus they accept card for all transactions! (Last I went to Vivi, it was all cash)
They're located right next to Subway's so if you walk up the stairs, open the door to the right. They share a space with daylight donut and carvel! Instant sugar cravings!
The employers here are nice, and they also speak Chinese. If you'd had kung fu bubble tea before than you know what you're looking at 😉
Otherwise for those new to bubble tea– kung fu's tea is really aromatic and their milk teas are the best. Their milk isn't powdered (or if it is, you can barely tell haha cause it's not cheap and grainy) and their milk is nice and frothy. Their slushies have a really nice consistency.
They also give a lottttt of toppings. Nice big jelly chunks! Or a while ton of boba!
