6 Buck for 2 Kathi Rolls… Sign me up. This is a decent place when it comes to Halal Food Carts. I have had Talapia Over Rice, Chicken Over Rice, Lamb Over Rice nothing failed to impress me. The meats and fish are well seasoned and never over done. The best part about their meals the Lamp is real pieces of meat unlike the other place with ground meat (hopefully lamb) and the rice is plain white which I sometimes prefer over the flavored.
Best Halal Food truck in the city. Food is well prepared and so fresh. The lamb and chicken is cooked just right and the cottage cheese and rice with salad mix makes this meal complete. They have been on the news on Fox 5 and also had articles written about them in the NY post but their trucks on the west side o 6th and 7th ave is called Kwik Meal. Kwik Gourmet is exactly the same great Bandladesh Halal Food truck.
Yes I said it. The chicken here is legit. Not the dried-up ish they serve you over at 53rd and 6th. It's cut into larger cubes and seasoned extremely well (not overpowering, but not bland either).
This place serves a HEALTHIER kind of Halal because it's not drenched in oil and white sauce. The white sauce is strategically placed on the side so you can adjust the amount of sauce to incorporate into your rice.
Trust me. When I say this place is good… it's good.
