Nothing too great here in my view. The service gets two stars – friendly and relatively quick. Other than that – not a whole lot more. I ordered the tacos and they did not sit well with me. I just didn't find them appealing and afterwards I did not feel great :-). Perhaps this is an option for the late night crowd (post – drinking) – but even that would not do it for me, I think.
The prices are competitive and you get an adequate amount of food, so I can understand why this place sticks around. But there has to be better options in the neighborhood – not the only game in town by a long shot.
The inside is average – decent amount of room – I came at night and there were only a few people. Several did takeout.
Not sure I'd make it back…if I do it would have to be after consuming some alcohol.
I like the fact that everything is fresh, and the prices and portions are really good and generous
they have a good range of options, and you can create your own custom salad and burrito
the only downside is that the place is small with like no ventilation at all, an AC would be nice!
First time I ate their burrito I'll admit I was drunk and it was fantastic. I did enjoy LA Burrito sober another time and got the quesadilla and white chicken chili soup. Everything is reasonably priced. I don't hang in Bushwick often, but when I do, I find myself here.
Good food. Ordered through GrubHub and was happy with the service. Arrived on time. I loved mine. Husband thought his was bland, but overall A+.
After one of my friends told us about this spot, one of my friends was stirring about this place. So we decide to eat here, they are a bit pricey, and the place is not that big.
I order the beef fajita without beans; although they almost put beans into my disk, they have to be very careful when a customer makes a special request, they do not know if the customer is allergic to what he said not to put on plate, but in my case is that I do not like beans, but I'm paying for my service and as such I hope they pleased my requests, thanks God I realized when the cook was cooking my disk and saw he was going to add some beans into my fajitas, so I told him I order the fajita without beans, he went to the server to make sure that was true, the server confirm that the beef fajita was without beans.
The amount of food was a lot, lots of garlic, peppers, onions, rice, and beef; I also made an extra order of shrimp. But the quality was not good, I did not like the taste, I had better fajitas in others places.
My most recent neighborhood obsession! So far, I've tried the jerk chicken burrito and the jerk chicken quesadilla and they were both fantastic. The chicken was very juicy and tender, the staff was extremely friendly, and the prices were cheap! You really can't top that. Plus, they have a ton of in house desserts they make as well. I cannot wait to come back and try the other dishes all of them sound so delicious!
I always pass this place and finally decided to try it for lunch. I walked in and gave the lady mu order and told her 2xs and in spanish to make sure she got my order right. I ordered for my Co worker as well and when we got back what some of us ordered wasn't in the bag. Boooo. I ordered the Mexican corn which was pretty good and flavorful, chili chicken soup (they gave me vegetable chili) which was oily and couldn't finish it & a chicken burrito my Co worker tried. Nothing wow'd me and I won't be ordering these items again. Burrito was bland and none of us finshed our meals.
I had a so-so burrito from here a few years ago but didn't remember much about it so figured I'd give them another shot. As such, I ordered a garden veggie vegan burrito and a side of chips and guacamole the other night and had the same "so-so" experience. When I think "garden veggie", I think of sauteed bell peppers, spinach, zucchini, and maybe mushrooms, even though I hate mushrooms. This garden veggie burrito, however, was rice, beans, soy cheese, tomatoes, and a couple bits of raw bell pepper. Lame!
I am glad they offer vegan sour cream and cheese, but the burritos themselves lack flavor. The guacamole was good, though the chips to guac ratio was way off and I ran out of guac before I got half way through the chips.
