La Cocina
“I wanted something nearby (I live in Murray Hill) with decent prices, a good atmosphere and delish food.”
“Yummy frozen margaritas and delicious chips and salsa.”
“But considering some restaurants don't even provide free chips and salsa, it's hard to complain.”

Easily the worst burrito in NY. I got the veg burrito at the 'to go' area and it was flat like a foot slipper. Canned beans in slime guacamole. It literally had no solids it was all a muddy mess. I ordered the burrito, and they gave me burrito soup. Will never return even if dying of hunger.
Take TaCocina from the west side about 10 avenues away and throw it on the east side and you have La Cocina. The food is super cheap and made quickly for fast deliveries. It is sometimes hit or miss, as for the most part the food does the job but is not as great as it is cheap. The variety is not spectacular, there are some varieties of enchiladas, appetizers, soft tacos, burrito platters, and Service has been courteous and friendly and they've been good about correcting mistakes through orders and deliveries while also being accommodating with substitutions.
Its Mexican delivery fast food essentially, not the best or cheapest, but it gets the job done.
