  1. Pretty good steak house that my family loves to visit. The sirloin is loaded with tons of flavor, especially when it's accompanied with the chimichurri. Yum!!

I also would recommend getting the fried provolone. So delicious with antipasto

  2. Delicious!

Food is incredible! You can't go wrong with anything you get – this place is a gem when it come to deliciousness!

Although, it could use a little upgrading in decor and ambiance, just saying …

  3. I couldn't wait to write my review, so here it goes. I came on a recommendation from a friend and yes was I pleasantly surprised. It was definitely not what I was expecting. I had high hopes and they weren't met. However the restaurant was clean and airy. I ordered the ham croquettes and completely not what I expected them to be. They were fried sticks of bread with ham I guess blended into it. Definitely not my cup of tea. I was so hoping this was not the start of a bad experience. I ordered the breaded steak with onions and cheese and my party ordered the combination short ribs with skirt steak. It definitely took a while for the food to come out and even the complimentary app of bread and fried slices of sausages. The chimichurri was good. I put that on everything. Finally the food came and my plate looked appetizing. However the combination was nothing to be desired. The short rib looked nice however the shirt steak looked different. The skirt steak still had a film over it and looked liked the butchers did not take that off. Customarily when you order skirt steak you see the grains of steak and not a film that covers the meat. Ummm yeah not the greatest experience and the food not worth the trip.

  4. Bought my bf here… awesome skirt steak! Oh and the sangria was good too. Definitely a place to good to.

  5. Interesting establishment that is essentially a restaurant and butcher shop combination.  This integration totally makes sense as long as you have someone who knows how to prepare the food, and La Esquina Criolla does.

If you are okay with eating all the edible parts of animals, the combos for two are an awesome value.  It's a sampler of skirt steak, short rib, sweetbread, tripe, kidney, and blood sausage, and is an enormous amount of food.

Not surprisingly for an Argentinian place, I find the skirt steak to be the best option here, and that is what I tend to order for myself every time.  I would pass on the other steak cuts such as the rib eye, etc.  While not bad, they aren't outstanding, and pale in comparison to the skirt steak.

  6. "Parrillada Completa" are the best to order. They come in big portion and taste very good. It comes with variety of food: Shirt Steak, Short Rib, Tripe, Kidney, etc… Worth the price if you are really really hungry. It is worth more than all you can eat places. I can assure you that you will not be able to finish one Parrillada Completa by yourself!

  7. I noticed the popularity of this restaurant, so i decided to give it a shot. there is another argentinian restuarant across the street called el gauchito, both are similar in terms of quality, however different things were better at each establishment

the interior here was simple and clean, the chorizo appetizers were a nice way to start off what can only be described as a trove of meat that I was prepared to consume here

I ordered the Parrillada Completa, complete with Skirt Steak, Short Rib, Sweetbread, Tripe, Kidney, Black And Argentina Sausage, basically the works, and a nice sample to induct myself into argentinian cusine.

to keep it short order the meats here and forget the offal meats / sausages here, the meats was done well; tender, moist and succulent, cutting into it required minimal effort and the taste of the meat was divine.

The intestines and the kidney here however could use SERIOUS work, they did not clean the intestines and when i bit into it i saw what clearly look like the pigs last meal, which was not appetizing at all. the kidney smelled like a tasted like piss, the sausages were too salty and really were not appetizing at all.

overall not a bad experience, just come here for the meat and there won't be any issues

  8. Steak spot located on a corner with plenty of metered street parking. You can smell the grill from a block away. There is nothing fancy about the decor, the meats are showcased proudly in a deli display. The service is slow, but they do offer complimentary sliced chorizo & toasted bread while you wait. Spread some chimichurri sauce on the bread, its banging!

I ordered the platter for 2 it comes with Skirt Steak, Short Rib, Sweetbread, Tripe, Kidney, Black And Argentina Sausage & 2 sides.

Only the Skirt Steak & Short Rib was good, they were cooked perfectly (Medium Rare). The Tripe & Kidney tasted horrible, extremely gamey & dirty. Sweetbread must be eaten right away HOT, once cooled it taste's disgusting, The Sausages were average & the blood sausage, had way to much seasoning in it!

FYI: More patrons frequent this spot to buy meats, to cook at home!
