Good food for a good price. Free delivery which was great because I was staying at a nearby hotel and did not have a car. My portabello pizza was at my door within an hour and was still hot which is sometimes an issue with delivery. I would order from here again.
I've ordered from here a couple of times. The first time I got my standard pre-drinking meal aka: cheesesteak, and then also pasta fagioli for the hell of it. Pasta Fagioli was good. Cheesesteak was ok.
I had my sister over the second time I ordered from here. We were starving. I picked a place on GrubHub that was closest because I figured they miiight get our food to us faster. It was just a hope and a dream. They are 1 mile away and took longer than the estimated delivery time of 55 min.
We ended up waiting almost an hour and a half for the food, and it was wrong. Unacceptable. I called La Mia Cucina back. I told them our order was wrong. We ordered Pasta Fagioli Soup $4.95, Seafood Scampi $17.95, and Frutti di Mare $17.95. The Seafood Scampi was supposed to have fresh shrimp, sauteed squid, scallops, mussels, clams and scampi sauce over pasta. What they gave us was Shrimp Scampi, only the shrimp, a $13.95 dish.
On the phone, the guy said we're swamped here and he would credit our order or give us another dish. I asked to be delivered the right dish… at this point we'd been waiting over an hour so my sister wanted what she ordered… He said ok. We didn't eat the Shrimp Scampi because we weren't sure if they would want it back. They NEVER brought the other dish. They NEVER credited my bill. The NEVER called back to let us know what was going on. What a rip off. My food was ok, but I couldn't enjoy it. I shared it with my sister since the Shrimp Scampi, by the time we realized they weren't going to show up, was cold.
I will never order from here again and I've also stopped ordering from GrubHub. Bad experience.
