  1. Brand new Mexican restaurant in town!  I was planning on coming here the first week they opened up… almost two months later, I finally made it!  Yea, I'm a mega-procrastinator.

A big plus one, on being the only restaurant on Main Street to have a private lot.  The only thing I thought was a little weird was the fact that they have an arrow that says "entrance this way" next to a door that's not an entrance, then the same sign next to the actual entrance.

Being that it was a Tuesday at 5:45pm we were the only people dining in (yes, I was eating at senior dinner time; I was hungry, don't judge me haha).  The dining room is simple yet very nice.

I had a steak chimichanga, because red meat is so yummy and everything tastes better fried (insert unhealthy comment).  The chimichanga was delicious and it was cooked perfectly.  Unlike the other nearby Mexican restaurants the plating is on point; I love the fact that the beans were in an edible bowl, so they don't gravitate to everything on your plate.

I wasn't going to get dessert, but I hadn't had flan in a long time.  The Flan was so tasty and was a prefect consistency.

This place is a great new edition to Butler!

  2. Was so excited to finally find some time to try this place out. Love to support a small local business especially if it's Mexican food! So here ya go…
    1.parking lot is small
    2. Restaurant seemed clean and friendly staff
    3. Chips were ehhh, salsa was good but nothing great
    4. Waitress never asked us if we wanted a drink, although she did bring us water
    5. Small menu
    6. Mole sauce/ verde sauce on enchiladas was SPICY!!! Tad bit too hot for my liking
    7. Meat in enchiladas and tostadas was minimal and fatty which was disappointing. Not sure what you are paying 10 or 13 dollars for, the tortillas?
    8. Beans had good flavor/rice was good
    9. Flan and churros were delicious. Some of the best I have ever had
    10. BYOB

This place has potential but not there yet. They need to make sure you can taste the chicken or beef in the food. I told the waitress they need to add Mexican street corn to the menu. If they do, I'll be back.
