  1. Ordered a large grandma pie from them. It was only 6 slices so not very large. Delivery took forever and the pizza was cold when it got here but they were having some issues because of the UN street closures. It was a decent slice and if it was hot it would have been even better but I don't know if I'd order delivery from them again and the actual store is a bit out of the way.

  2. It is DEFINITELY hit or miss here!

  3. Meh describes this place perfectly.  Pizza places are a dime a dozen by me (and pretty much all over Manhattan).  Having said that, you can't get away with skimping on toppings AND charging almost $5 a slice when there are five other places within walking distance that charge less, give more, and taste better.  Granted, I haven't had any of their baked dishes so can't speak to those, but I really think this place caters to the weekend late night (read: drunk) crowd leaving McFadden's and Calico Jack's looking for some quick food.

I may give them another go, but with Garlic, Vezzo, Libretto's, Pazzo Pizzeria, and even my local Abitino's nearby, I'm really not compelled to go back to La Trattoria…

  4. Skip this place.  There are better pizzeria's around town and the delivery took forever and a day.

While the pizza was edible, I felt the pies were a little small.

The avocado salad was tasty though and I enjoyed that a lot.

Their grandma pie was also decent, but again, not special.

They also charged $21 for a large veggie pizza and I felt that was kind of expensive and they skimped out on the veggies.

  5. Nothing special about this corner pizza place. It will do for weekday lunch. But the slices are on the smaller size and not the cheapest. The turkey burger is from a frozen pattie, which I suppose is expected. They've kind of burnt the burger a couple of times. A couple of times I came in and it was empty and the guy behind the counter said the chef was not in and I could only order pizza, hm ok…. They have one of the most common Italian restaurant names in NYC, but not sure if anyone working there is even Italian…
