Lansdowne Road

“Ordered the Sixpoint draft and just chilled at the bar watching the many HDTVs lined up behind the bar.”

“Lansdowne also has a "daily double" which changes, well, daily (obviously): they sell one bottle and one draft for $4.”

“Fun crowd…they have "beer towers" and an ice strip on the bar to keep your drink cold.”

  1. i was like oh hey okay, highly rated sports bar on yelp. $5 beer specials. television. and i walked in for the pacers game and it was an oober chill vibe. clean respectable sports bar. not teeming with rangers fan. playing a lot of soccer honestly. european and asian tourists with weekenders from new jersey and of course, a hells kitchen local or two.

but the chicken…the famous chicken, my butt. it really sucked. garlic parmesan, it really didnt have either of those flavors. i was just dunking the chicken in bleu cheese to get it down. but like, it was relaly low quality type chicken. like the dining hall chicken i ate at rutgers takeout is probably better cooked than this. and a higher quality. meh.

  2. A nice, casual place to hang out and catch up with friends or catch a game.

I came here to meet up with friends and had a great time.  The servers are on top of things and very friendly.  Our drinks were perpetually filled and the good times kept rolling.

At times, the volume of their music crept higher making it harder to hear each other.  However, there's something endearing about screaming at each other.  A pro-tip if you're ever hanging out with me: if I can't hear you the first two tries, I'll agree to whatever you say next because I gave up.  The server was accommodating when we brought the volume to her attention.

    A fun, local, friendly experience.

  3. Came here to watch a game on TV. When we looked around, we saw a tv for EVERY SINGLE GAME GOING ON. Seriously, every baseball team was playing.

We plopped a seat at the bar in front of the Mets Tv (LGM!) and our adventure began.

    Food:
    – FAR WEST BURGER – bacon burger with an onion ring – REALLY GOOD (came with french fries)
    – Chicken Wings – *warning* HOT is VERY HOT

    Atmosphere:
    – Everyone was so nice who worked there
    – there is a metal bar on the wall where you (for $5 donation to charity) hang on for 2 minutes – if you win you get a bunch of prizes
    – There is a juke box so the music was a mish mosh of all types which I loved!

Would definitely come back here for another game or to just hang out

*Wasn't too packed when I went, but it probably could get pretty packed depending on the game/night

  4. I've been here twice and really enjoyed it both times. My friends and I came one evening to watch a Laker game. Our server was really nice and gave us tips on when to arrive for Super Bowl Sunday (the following day).

We returned the next day and since I was the first of us to arrive, I took a table that I thought could seat three, but the server (who was the same one from the night before) told me that we couldn't seat three there due to all of the traffic. She was really nice in trying to find me alternative seating, despite how busy it was. After my friends arrived and the game was on, it was obviously busy throughout the night, but our server remained attentive.

Spacious with a chill vibe; great place to watch sporting events.

  5. WINGS WINGS WINGS! Get the WINGS!!

Seriously, one of the best wings in the midtown west area. I usually order plain wings (extra crispy!) with sauce on side. Draft beer should come with the wings, for sure. Would be great to add fries. Everything here has good quantity with decent quality/price.

OMG, can't believe I haven't written a review for Lansdowne yet even though I visited multiple times for the last 3 years! Very spacious – great spot to enjoy watching sports. Don't miss happy hours.

  6. Fun Sports Bar with tvs all around the bar!

When you walk into this place it has that duvet bar feel with high tables and a long wooden bar that has an iced cooling strip across the bar to leave your beer on to keep it at that perfect cool temperature.

I got a spot at the bar here and ordered the wings, fried pickles, and nachos. Everything was good but not amazing the buffalo wings are very spicy and I got the medium if you like hot wings I would come here. Another huge plus is they do a beer special at the bar where they have a specialty beer for $5 which is a great deal.

If you are looking for a sports bar to watch a game this is your spot I went for the nfl draft and it was packed a fun time.

    In short:
    – good spicy buffalo wings
    – good beer special
    – unique cooling strip at the bar
    – Jets Bar

  7. Came here since we were craving wings

    Pros:
    – 75cents wings – mild (wasn't spicy at all and I have a low tolerance for spice) and BBQ wings were tasty and not dry
    – Great atmosphere – plenty of TVs and casual vibe
    – Decent size – more room in the back
    – Plenty of clean bathrooms

    Cons:
    – Every single party member needs to get a drink with an order of wings – either that be a soda or alcoholic drink or the deal is off

  8. Great bar to watch games with a 360 view of TVs and multiple games on. They usually have drink deals when big games are on which is always a plus! One of my favorite bars in the area with good bar food (tater tots)!
