Pain Quotidien has always been one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in town to visit a friend. This location is my new favorite. The food quality is good at all of the locations but all of the locations do not have Mary! She was such a great server. She accommodated us with sitting outside and our service was impeccable even though we were the only table outside. Our favorite menu item, the cheese board, had lost our favorite items over time with menu changes but she was able to add the items to the cheese board. She was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. A+ for service!
If you want a quiet sanctuary from Stone St. all you need to do is walk a few more feet to the first floor of what was the old Goldman Sachs building lobby and you will find this rather cool establishment. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is good because it's covered by the building so you won't bake in the sun.
We each ordered quiche Loraine which also comes with salad. The quiche was very good…light and fluffy and not too rich. For dessert we tried a pistachio tart (also quite good — not too sweet)
We were there at 1:00 PM on a Sunday and they ran out of omelettes. Apparently they bake them, so it's not what you think. Still strange for a Sunday early afternoon.
Overall a very pleasant experience.
We have been Le Pain's customers for years. It was my first time at this new location today. Always great to be served with courtesy and goob vibes. Food is great and fresh, staff is super attentive and the place is warm as home.
This location is pretty good. Menu is bigger than others as they serve hot dishes such as rotisserie chicken and meatballs here. Unlike other locations where I usually get a slice of bread with salad, I received a bread basket. Space is really big and service is good but as is the case with LPQs in general you need to flag waiters down.
One of my favorite chains. The waitress here was fabulous – Mary. She made all of my bread and cheese dreams come true including reinventing the original cheese platter for us they used to make years ago. I can't say enough good things about her or my experience here. The bread is divine, cheeses are delicious and the latte was strong and perfect. Cheese platter lovers unite here!
We ate here twice when in from out of town. For NYC the prices are the quite reasonable and the breakfast is excellent and offers a European spin. Day one I had quiche Lorraine and day two the avocado toast. Both were excellent as were the cappuccino
