  1. The food is amazing, id recommend everything the Chef creates. Your palate can never go wrong here. They have food for vegans and vegetarians as well. It's a modest size restaurant. The drinks are buy one get one on most nights. It's never too loud, cold or hot. It's a nice family restaurant or a intimate restaurant for a couple or a group of friends. The food isn't expensive at all..

  2. Lunch at Lemongrass Grill was not the most authentic Thai meal I've ever had… but it was satisfying and an excellent deal.

For $7.95 you get an appetizer (3 different types of dumplings and a garden salad), your choice of entree, and a complimentary Thai Iced Coffee or Thai Iced Tea.

My Chicken with Basil & String Beans was tasty and was a filling portion that didn't weigh me down during the rest of the work day. My coworker enjoyed her Pad See Ew as well.

Service was attentive, and we were in and out within our lunch hour. I wouldn't hesitate to come back when I'm in this part of Brooklyn again!

  3. Came here on a Sunday night with a group of 8, place was moderately packed, always a good sign in my book.

Ordered the pineapple fried rice duck platter. Exactly as pictured, duck was fried, I expected it to be roasted, but none-the-less, very tender and flavorful, rice was amazing. Based on this alone: 5 stars!

However, they lost stars for the following:

-They only placed 6 utensils and cups of water instead of 8?! (I understand the education system in NYC has failed us but come on!)
-I munched on everyone else's dishes: the calamari was very lightly colored, a little soggy and could've spent more time in the fryer.
-The wings were flavorless, but was saved by the accompanying duck sauce
-The drinks were designed to give you a sugar rush (you have been warned diabetics), with no real strong alcohol in them.
-Customer service was much to be desired–felt very rushed from ordering to paying the bill (and you know where two or three stingy people are gathered paying the bill is always a task).

I will probably return if I'm around the area just for that pineapple fry rice with duck, but I won't travel out of my way for mediocre dining.

  4. I got delivery on Seamless here. I got two things here: Crab Rangoons and Basil Fried Rice with Chicken. The fried rice I have no complaints. Filled me up and I was a happy camper. The Crab Rangoons I didn't expected it to be mixed with curry paste and I wasn't a fan of that. I expected it to be just cream cheese as the filling, so I won't be getting those again.

Delivery took about 45min – 1hr. No complaints with the delivery man. Probably will get food from here again when I'm feeling Thai for dinner.

  5. Oh lawd, the food here is so good. I haven't had Thai in a while but I was craving it yesterday. Its a pretty low-key place with hefty portions of no-frills food which is great. I ordered the Noodle Mao with Tofu which I was iffy about because Tofu isn't my fav but it was delicious. Hell, it tasted like crispy Pork or something LOL. I also had Thai iced tea but there is nothing much to explain about it since its a basic drink that I am sure most of us on Yelp have already had. I have been to Lemongrass in Park Slope yearrrssss ago in the early 2000s so this was nostalgic for me and I am glad I stopped in. Good food, good prices, and good vibes.

  6. Fried Thai style dumplings, curry puffs, fried calamari, lychee shrimp, crab ragoons, Chinese broccoli with beef, shrimp, duck with thai garlic sauce, seafood ginger joy and sticky rice…Geezuz this place always satisfies whether delivery or sit down. Try and try everything, I do!!!

  7. Don't let the cheesy interior fool you! I walked in on a holiday for dinner after work and I was totally impressed. While it was a mad house, and there were only two or three servers on the floor, the service was prompt and came with a smile. It was noisy as hell (complete with yelling kids and rowdy customers) in the restaurant and I was annoyed for the staff. They kept their cool, though. Amazing.

The food was good. I had the basil fried rice and was served a generous amount which was delicious. So delicious I had to take my leftovers home.

I will surely be back for take-out or delivery in the near future.

  8. The food is solid. I don't know if it's a full 4 stars–maybe 3.5–since it's really Americanized Thai food, but the lunch special is so terrific that you really can't complain.

Got the Thai basil chili dish with chicken. Came with fried wonton, salad, and a spring roll. It was $7. Yes, $7. It was a massive amount of food and I had leftovers! ALSO, a free Thai iced tea?!

If I was being picky, I'd complain about it being too salty or the flavors being a little off, but not for this price. Awesome, awesome lunch deal. I'll be back.
