  1. Damn good slices for a neighborhood joint. Get the Tuesday cash and carry special. Tuesday evening for $9.00

  2. I've always come to Lenny & John's since I'm young. If I ever want something quick to eat I can go in on my own or with someone.
Today we went to grab a quick dinner. We got a sausage calzone to split as an appetizer, which was really good…so cheesy. For my meal I got the grilled chicken panini, which was delish as usual. The panini comes with a homemade sundries tomato sauce on that side that makes the panini.
I'll always come back to Lenny & Johns for a quick bite.

  3. Neighborhood staple.

Can't go wrong with a slice and a cheese rice ball.

Been going here since we moved here in 1996.
The staff has always been really nice.

You're better off going to pick it up rather than having it delivered.
I live right around the corner & it still takes an hour.

If you sit down to eat, they always have a game on whether it be baseball, football, or basketball.

    Nice & clean.

  4. Standard fare.  There were cops eating here so that tells you the food's decent.  I had a slice of cheese and a slice of pepperoni (iron replenishment).  As I was eating the pepperoni, my lips started tingling so not sure if it was on the spicier side or not.  Nonetheless it was pretty good.  Comfortable atmosphere without being too dirty or messy.  Seems like a good neighborhood place.

  5. **This review is for their rice balls only.**

I was in the area visiting family and I had a sudden craving for rice balls. This was the closest location to me that had good reviews on rice balls, so I decided to give them a try.

They offer two kinds of rice balls: meat or cheese. They are small and cost $1.25 each. I got the one with meat. There was very little meat and the rice did not have any seasoning from what I could tell. My order did not come with a side of sauce either 🙁

  6. Neighborhood pizza restaurant that's been in the business for decades and I've been a customer since the eyeglass store was there.

Although they've had their moments in the past where I've waited almost 2hrs for food, and a staff member wasn't the friendliest, they're still one of the best in the area, make great food, and are reasonably priced. And the wait staff has been cool for the few times I had table service. My favorite menu items include the rice ball special, baked lasagna, chicken rolls, garlic knots, wings, panini and chicken parm hero.

Expect to wait 30-50 minutes for delivery, depending on the time of day. Hard pressed to find good food like this open so late. Bathroom and dining area very clean – Love to see local businesses like this thrive.

Oh, and if it's too expensive for you, stop crying and go to the $1 slice spots!!!

  7. 3.5 stars

This place has been in my neighborhood for as long as I can remember. Every time I order, its for takeout and the service is relatively quick.

I always get consistently good pizza each time I order. I really enjoy the way they make their pizza. The crust always has just enough crunch to it without being burnt or too soft to the point where it's soggy.

The pizza isn't amazing or mind blowing but it is good enough to keep me coming back for more whenever I'm in the mood for pizza.

  8. I've been going to Lenny and John's for years.  I used to love their pizza, especially at 4am after a long fun night of bar hopping.  That's where the positive ends.

Since they renovated and expanded they got too big for their britches.  They raised the prices on sub par food to cover the expense of the renovation and they are just out and out RUDE.  They feel that since they've been around so long, they don't need your business anyway.  They also know that, even though they raised their prices, they're still cheaper than Franks down the block.

After 2 or 3 times of ordering food and waiting an hour for food that wasn't worth the wait, I finally threw away their menu and started ordering from a different place.  Later Lenny's!
